I must express my joy at the outstanding dance performance 4th D,E & F delivered at yesterday's annual day function of New Horizon Scholars School Vasant Lawns. I am glad that my daughter was part of it. The overall show was nothing short of spectacular, featuring a perfect blend of drama, music, colors, and exceptional talent from all participants. The synergy between teachers and students was evident, resulting in a wonderful and memorable event. I extend my heartfelt cheers to all students for their fabulous performances and sincere gratitude to the teachers, management, and the entire team at NHSSVL for orchestrating such a remarkable show.

Dear Sonal and Khushboo Maam, we are very proud parents to have witnessed a grand celebration of the kids annual day function of Nw horizon Vasant lawns. The kids were well prepped and we also enjoyed the theme of the day. Kudos to everyone one who took efforts to bring this together. Thank you

Unforgettable memories

In the month of July/August 23, we were informed from the school that the school is going to plan a picnic of 4 nights 5 days at Jodhpur, Jaisalmer in the month of January 2024. Then thereafter we had discussion with the Principal ma'am and Director ma'am. And tickets were booked. Prior to Christmas vacation we got a list of a few essential things for the students’ betterment during the picnic.

Next day we got a message from the teacher who will be taking care and responsibility of our child.

I would like to share my review for the same.

Though the drop and pick up point for the students was our school, all the parents were informed about their coach no. and seat no. Even while returning the seat numbers and coach numbers of a few students got changed, that also was informed to the parents. This is ‘transparency.’

107 students with 7 teachers and the director ma'am were like family at the Jodhpur, Jaisalmer trip.

It's been 4 days, My daughter has returned from the trip but she isn't tired of talking about her teachers and friends. This is the attachment students got from their teachers.

My daughter was under the care of Jayashree ma'am. She told me that they enjoyed a lot with their teachers. She added that “our teachers were so caring that feeling like I am travelling with my parents.” I guess this itself shows us how wonderfully teachers had taken care of their students.

We used to get wonderful videos of around 30 mins of all the students and teachers daily. They used to update us about their schedule for that particular day alongwith the importance of that location they visited. Even students got wonderful Rajasthani dishes like ker sangri ki sabji, daal- baati, churma during this period.

Students were allowed to carry mobile phones if they wish too (but it was not compulsory). But, group leader ma'am took care that children will get time to share their photos with their family and friends and can communicate with their parents whenever they want but she also made sure that they will not use WhatsApp or any other social media till late night, compromising their sleep. This is the ‘Discipline.’

All the teachers also performed well with their students at the bonfire night. This is the gelling, which is really necessary to improve teacher-student rapport.

I guess every student must attend at least 2 nights and 3 days picnics with their friends and teachers to make their bond wonderful.

Annual function 2023, organise by New Horizon Scholars school Vasant Lawn was outstanding. Performance by each and every students was outstanding. The message given through drama was very good and students acted very well also dance performance by kids was very nice. Participation of Class 4 A in drama and dance was very good. I would like to thank School management, teachers and support staffs for arranging such a very good event.

The annual day held this week was a superb affair. All the performances were well choreographed & the kids (specially pre Primary kids) performed extremely well. The location for the show was also great since many screens could be accommodated for those sitting behind. The highlight was the kids performances with almost all grades performing. Felicitating the 10th std kids was a good gesture.
The school has been teaching the kids very well & I appreciate the fact there is lots of extra curricular activity too apart from studying.

Annual day event organised by school was excellent . Efforts taken by teachers and all team into preparing students was really great. Small kids performed fearlessly with full of confidence and enthusiasm in front of large audience that's really appreciated. Thank you for providing such a great platform to students and building confidence. Theam of the event and selection of songs were also really good.

Attended NHSSVL Annual day at TMC ground, Hiranandani Estate on 13 Dec'23. It was a very well organised event. The whole program was very energetic. All dances ,dramas were superb! My Son performed "Flamingo Dance" (from 4th F), we enjoyed dance fully. All students have done fantastic performance 👏 Our class teacher Madhuri Dabhade Madam has taken good care of our students. Overall it was an awesome show .Thanks to all NHSSVL Teachers, Staff Trustees, Management & Organizers.Special Thanks to Madhuri Teacher for encouraging my kid to perform well and developed self confidence.

I would like to congratulate all the members who helped to make Annual Day Event such a grand success. Special thanks to the teachers who were behind the stage , like the Ramp walk Team , Music Team, Dance team who meticulously had planned . The programme was very nicely planned and organized.Good efforts by all teachers. I am very grateful to all teachers, coordinator and Principal. Thank you for making annual day a memorable one.

The annual function program conducted by NHSVVL on 13.12.23 was very well planned, organised and executed.
The function was very enthusiastic with lovely dance and drama performance by little kids.

Best part was anchoring of entire event was done by school students and even musical instruments were entirely played by school students instead of any orchestra team.

The school and students have done a great work and we are looking ahead for many more events in upcoming year wherein we can see more emerging talents of our little kids 😊👍

I attended NHSSVL Annual Day On 13.10.2023, Drama was meant to symbolise all indian festivals and cultures. We appreciate the efforts of kids, teachers and management to put up such a nice show. We actually enjoyed every bit of it. It really calls for lots of hard works.My both kids performed in the Annual Day.We enjoyed the group dance.

Congratulations to Team NHSSVL for making a successful and impactful event of the Annual Day Function. We feel honoured to have been a part of this event. The theme resonated so well with the need of the hour. It is a beautiful way to generate both awareness and accountability.

It was a magnificent effort from the little students to the senior students, to all the teachers, staff members, all coordinators and of course the transport department. I always envied watching my kid perform in their school Annual day function and this day made it real. The grand finale was indeed a grand one, epic, joyous and memorable. All the performances (Singing/ Live Instruments/ Skit/ Dances) culminating into one large band of talent was an absolute brilliant experience.

The snacks bar setup and staging, lighting was fantastic. The seating area was plenty, and the big screens helped us to see the performance to max possibility.

Some word of advice that might help and strengthen future events like so:

1. Kids performance: Height wise formation: The above is suggested purely because of zero visibility of all the kids starting from the third row. Only first two rows were visible.

2. Covering the stage at least. During such harsh cold weather, it would have been safer for kids to perform, stand and wait next to the stage if it was covered from the top. The cold took a toll on the kids.

3. Kids had practiced a lot for this event. To make this event a grand success. School should give a token of thanks to all these kids.

Finally, I would like to thank you and your complete team for organising such a blissful event.

What made this occasion exceptional was the inclusive approach, trying to make sure that every child had a stage to showcase their talents.

Yesterday on 13th of December we all participated in the Annual Day and enjoyed it a lot . With the help of the coordination of the higher management's and the teachers . We were successful in putting up a great Annual Day.

The arrangements and the place were truly awesome . The lighting and the environment was amazing . The pickup and drop arrangements were good aswell. The costumes were also distributed and collected properly . The stage was big and efficient. Overall the program was a must watch and perfectly arranged

The annual event organized by NHSS school Vasant Lawns was wonderful, which showcased diverse talents of kids from all age groups. Thank you for making my child from Jr. Kg. E a part of the celebration. I felt emmensely proud seeing my kid perform on stage for the first time. It was clearly visible that all the teachers and organizers worked really hard to put up such a huge event. Thank you Aalya ma'am and Ruma ma'am for taking care of our little ones before, during and after the event and for continuously doing so.
Apart from the performances, thank you for showcasing the accomplishmens from kids in various academical and extra curricular activities. It will help boost confidence and encourage other kids from the school to out perform in every aspect.
I thank all the students, teachers and the entire NHSSVL school for organizing such a spectacular event.

The Annual day function was really nice. Lot of efforts were taken by the school staff in making it a success. The students and Parents enjoyed the function. Few suggestions for better Management next time. 1. The program can be done in 2 batches ie. One for Preprimary and other for Primary. This would help with time Management. The program should be approx 2 hrs. Due to all together the program duration was almost 5 hrs. 2. The batch size of the performance can be reduced so that Parents are able to see their kids performance. Most of the parents were not able to see their kids due to the batch size of 100 plus and also due to the distance from the stage.3. The Ground could have been covered with Pandal so that Parents and Students could have been comfortably seated in the shade.
Overall the content and program was fantastic.

Schools annual day was held on 13 th of Dec. Must say it was a very grand event, well organised and professionally managed. Was very delighted to see the kids perform and hear about the schools achievements. My son was super excited and was very happy about his school. We are very thankful to the school and the teachers for all the hardwork they have put in.

Overall expirence from admission was smooth. This year the activities which were conducted by school were very informative for kids. Annual day celebration was grand and kids enjoyed it alot. NHSS is constantly making an effort to excel in the academic as well as extra curricular activities.planning to continue the same for my daughter for her further grade.

NHSS Vasant Lawns is a new sapling in the field of futuristic education. We can feel the strong educational foundation that it is making in the lives of our kids. Despite being a new institution, they know how to make a “ world of difference” with their unique way of teaching and mentoring.
Their Second annual day indeed was a CARNIVAL that showcased the young talents of the budding stars. Right from planning and execution, the event showcased, intellect, dedication, perseverance, symphony, hardwork, determination and devotion. I want to congratulate the entire administration, our beloved teachers, other staff and last but not the least our students for doing such a splendid job and raising the bar higher. It took us to the era of our own childhood as we all were hymning and dancing along with the songs. Really look forward to another such event with more fun and much more to take away with us. :)

The annual day function was excellent! All the songs were chosen with perfection and the choreographies were magnificent. Kudos to the efforts of all the teachers and staff members of the school! The participants were phenomenal, especially the pre-primary kids and teachers..
