Burhanpur Railway Station(BAU)

This station is located in MP district. It's having beautiful culture. We have spent 2 days here. Beautiful place nice people. Mumtaj was buried here until Taj Mahal was ready. After taj mahal is ready It was shifted to agara Taj Mahal

This station has only 2 platforms but its know for historical place and people come to see Dargahehakimi’s and many more place which is here in Burhanpur

Clean and very nice set up..
Few areas are still under construction, I am sure once everything has been refurbished, the station will look wonderful...

Have 2 platform, very clean station n toilets, many eateries outside station, specialist of mawa kachori

It was very nice. Our train Asr to CSTM was nearly three & half hours late, we all were Senior Citizens (3 Ladies & 1 Gent), but We got full support of Station Manager Sir. Thanks Burhanpur Rly. Staff.

Neat and clean station with fans and AC waiting room. Timely announcements about trains keeps travellers informed.

Neat n clean, growing rapidly, with good clean basic amenities.

I stopped here on my way from New Delhi to Bangalore on the 12628 Karnataka express. The train stops here for a few minutes. Lots of vendors selling food like bananas, Vada pav, aloo poori, samosas etc. Water and juice also sold on the stalls at the station.

Railway station is upgraded with digital sign board, station also clean. Only one issue that the coach nos. we're not updated we had to remind the station master of it since this was not reflecting on the digital board even when the train would arrive in 15 minutes.

Burhanpur historical railways station is one of the cleanest railway across india on the walls u can find historical places to visit in burhanpur of every religion and cast and it have security at entrance and 2 platforms many food shops and reservation waiting room. Rest room wash room were too clean and hygiene shade is also available for normal passenger over bridge is available to cross station. Auto taxi facility is also available just before railway station. It's almost 5..6 k m far from main city approx auto charges from railway station to city is 100 rupee's.

Very peaceful,very friendly, very clean. All the toilet places are neet and tidy and waiting hall is stunning. Everyone is treated equally. Everything is free.Thats great! compare to its population.

Whenever you come, please do eat special famous kachori 😋

Infrastructure has developed a lot. Staff and personnel are very good too.

Keep an eye for the flag also, it waves very beautifully in wind.

Update: with kachori remeber to take green chilli as well, DO NOT SAY NO!

It was excellent , Cleanses was too good, Sitting arrangements and chair is also available at every corner, Thanks to Railway department for maintaining such a nice station,

Well maintained station.Water supply is proper.Proper maintenance of public toilets.Many shops of different things(food shop,books store,general things etc.)all available at one place.

Beautiful place of Burhanpur show like this and love you

Very nice and good for passanger. But two track here only. Must to increase up to 4 track as soon as possible because big crowd here from all India.
