I recently had the opportunity to receive medical treatment for my dad at General hospital and I am pleased to say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I entered the facility until the time of discharge, the level of care and service provided by the hospital staff was truly outstanding.

First and foremost, the doctors and nurses demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism. They were attentive, compassionate, and took the time to thoroughly explain diagnosis, treatment options, and any potential risks or complications.

The hospital's infrastructure was impressive as well. The premises were clean, well-maintained, Took the AC rooms after surgery ( payward ) it cost around 1500/- per day .

Kudos to the whole management and Kerala health department for maintaining it very well , Really we need other government hospital also like these in future .

A month ago I had to visit general hospital for my grandmother's treatment .She is entered in the casuality. They provide very good treatment and cared the patient very well. All the staff including doctors and even security staffs they do care about our problems and provide necessary guidance.

I really loved this hospital ❤,General Hospital, Ernakulam is a state-owned hospital, with excellent super speciality facilities for training and treatment in cardiology, ctvs, nephrology, urology along with internal medicine, general surgery in Kochi, India. It is managed as part of the public health system of the government of Kerala

The facilities and infrastructure herw is outstanding. Great services and cleanliness. Located at a peaceful atmosphere at kochi.

I have done MRI here. The rate was very low compared to private centers. Definitely we have to wait even though we booked early,as more peoples are there. And there new block building also good, well maintained.

Very good hospitality facilities.... Good doctors and good behavior attitude.... Casualty doctors very help full mind and fully good atmosphere in this hospital... Police good helping and very strict... And avarage clean coundition....

The Government and the Ernakulam Charity Organisers, donors, created a great new experience of better quality and responsibility then Private Hospitals who only want your money. Their infrastructure and staff are very well organised. Noted absence of Consultants of expertise at their Management level on the floor. Ideally located with a great new super speciality. One suggestion there should be seperate wards for infectious patients.

Wonderful experience with Ernakulam General Hospital. All the Doctors are wonderful and the staff was very helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I am so glad I chose Ernakulam Hospital and would highly recommend to anyone.

I was in Ernakulam General Hospital for last 15 days. The experience was the best. No issues to be raised. Dr. Nibin Bose and his team were the very best catering to each patients individually. Will recommend to every patients. Food, cleanliness, hats off to service of sisters/nurses.

When to take OP Token at 5am always busy . Because Only one counter ,management have take action open more counters

Things have changed a lot. It has much better treatment facility with good doctors. Super speciality block is extraordinarily awesome. More spacious, neat and clean, has most modern facilities in operation theater. Free food for patients. Treatment is free of cost for insurance card holders, and for others its minimal. X ray (70), ECG (30) etc

Got bitten by 🐕 eventually had to go here (got the 1st two jabs privately), but the immunoglobulin is only available here. The treatment exemplary considering the magnitude of patients they have to attend to. Very many sincere thanks!

Extra ordinary hospital. Best services by doctors and staffs. Very good behaviour. They do not reccomend unnecessary operations, test etc. They have a bunch of experienced doctors.

One of the best government hospitals in Ernakulam.. well maintained 👏

Worked there for one year.
Better treatment facilities. Good doctors.
Easily accessible and affordable for poor and middle class patients.
All scans(CT, MRI, Ultrasound etc) are really cheap.
On Wednesdays there'll be a music session for all patients.
New "trauma care centre" has started.
Also there is a dialysis unit which is really helpful to lot of patients.
All surgeries are done efficiently (including plastic surgeries)
Yoga classes are there.

On Sunday6/Sept/2020 I have visted the hospital for taking rabies shot for my 1.5 year old daughter. Everyone was busy with Covid and handling other emergency cases.

We got support and assistance from the gatekeeper to the doctor.
We were referred from Aluva GH because there is a special dose only available at Ernakulam GH. To take that dose we have to read and sign a document stating that the dose can be very dangerous for some people.

So I am afraid to take the dose and consulted the doctor Ms. Anjali. She was very caring and energetic. Since my childe's age was 1.5 she reffered another one which cost 2K with less risky than the normal one.

Since it was a Sunday there were not much crowd and other than waiting for the medicine everything was smooth.

Thanks Dr. Anjali and other nurses (injection room) who take good care of my daughter.

Improvement needed:
1. To avoid queue, staff should ask the patients the matter. Otherwise people just wait on the queue and at the end, they were on the wrong queue or purpose.
2. Sign boards: Need signboards...
3. Covid Area: Label the areas with Red, Orange, Blie, Green and must specify the dangerous of the zone.
