Mathardev Baba

Really great place to trek and also get darshan of Bholenath.
The view from the top is really scenic and you can see layers of mountain ranges disappearing into the horizon.
You should start your trek Early morning so that you can reach the top by the time the Sun is up.
It takes 1.5 to 2 hours for an average person, keeping in account one or two short rests in between.

Also, beware of monkeys as they can snatch away things from you if you have any polybag or eatable in your hands. It's better to carry a stick with you, it'll help you in climbing as well as keep you safe from monkeys.

Overall the trek experience was really good and we also attended aarti of Bholenath. So the overall experience was Wholesome. Worth a visit.

Great place to visit.
Religious place and there is annual Mela in the month of January every year. Must visit during this time.

There is also Ram Temple 2 minutes from here.

This is the best place to visit in Sarni. The trek to the top of the temple is an awesome experience. Must visit 😍

Nice place to visit Shiv temple. There are near about 1875 steps in a stair to reach the temple.
It is surrounded by some mountains. This place is surrounded by nature.

It was a holy journey and an expression of joy in terms of leg pain and exciting endeavours.... I have never climbed this much stairs before, so it was such a new thing for me to challenge myself and this is what excites me.

A holy temple of lord Shiva very popular in the region. Best time to visit during winter.

One of the most conspicuous sites of Sarni is a Shiva temple overlooking the town from Mathardev peak, which is the highest point, approximately 3,500 ft (1,100 m) (from sea level), among neighbouring hills of Satpura ranges. The peak as well as the temple are named after a legendary tribal chief named Mathardev.
