This is a remote village in Goa which appears once a year. It is usually submerged under water for the whole year. It is visible in mid April and May. This village was evacuated when a dam was constructed (Salaulim Dam), so when the water is released this village gets submerged. The interesting fact about this place is a temple - Someshwara temple is present in this village and still people visit it every year.
