Would Recommend the Private Huts, they are beautiful from Inside.
Staff (Manager Gain) and others are very welcoming and helpful.
Location is at Sunrise side of the island and close to Kalapathar so you don't have to travel too early in the morning. Giving Nagar Beach is also accessible from resort, not directly but walkable.
Food options were very limited for lunch dinner, breakfast is good though. You have plenty of high rated restaurants around so not too serious issues. Restaurant ambience music is great, serve limited beer and cocktails.
Overall and amazing stay, would definitely visit again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort, a tranquil oasis. The proximity to nature and the serene ambiance make it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The rooms at Wild Orchid are spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. I opted for an ocean-view villa, and waking up to the sound of the waves and the panoramic view of the sea was truly magical. The resort also offers various room categories to suit different budgets and preferences.

The resort offers a wide range of amenities and activities to keep guests entertained. From a well-maintained swimming pool and a spa offering rejuvenating treatments to water sports and nature walks, there's something for everyone. The staff is attentive and can arrange guided tours to nearby islands and snorkeling excursions.

The staff at Wild Orchid were courteous and always ready to assist with a smile.

Overall, this place is a fantastic choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat.

It’s is good property. Though not a beach side resort , the ambience , quality of rooms were very good and had a pleasant experience. The resort team headed by Mr Phanindra is also very cordial and good. Had a pleasant stay.

We had stayed at this resort for 3 days as a couple...way back in 2009!
I remember comfortable rooms with good ambience/decor..though pretty hot (non-ac).
Food at the restaurant was good though a bit expensive...but I guess that is to be expected on a remote island!
The location was just superb! The cottages are in a semi circle with a short 200m walk through a curtain of coconut trees leading to a private pristine beach!
Since at that time only one elderly foreign couple was staying there...we virtually had a private beach for ourselves!!
Distance wise decently away from the hullabaloo of the nearby marketplace, yet not too far to be accessed with a stroll.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Would surely recommend my friends and family for this beautiful stay. Special thanks to Indra for being the best host!

My wife, daughter and I have just stayed at the resort for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, air conditioning was excellent. Hospitality was exceptional, Raj was ever present and always ready to help answer our questions, he is a fantastic resort manager. The breakfast and food at Fat Martin was amazing and staff were very friendly. Overall, we had a great time at The Wild Orchid.

Its a nice property with wooden cabins . And lush green trees . But the main gem due to which I have given 5 stars is Mr Raj I have no words to explain his professionalism and his enthusiasm. He arranged surprise for my husband’s birthday and was so deeply engaged in planning I felt as if he is one of our family member. Really thanks a lot for making this trip memorable. Overall property is excellent with good rooms breakfast and everything that can be asked for

The wild orchid resort gave us an impeccable experience starting from their personalised care, ambience, room service, cleanliness, you name it and you have it.

Value for money rooms (do check various websites for the best price, for mine with ease my trip) with a forest view gives you a pinch of green serenity amidst the blue island vibe.

I will not be doing justice to this review if I leave without mentioning Mr. Raj, the full time manager who is also the life of the place. His every ready energy is contagious and he is your go-to for all queries, you will not be disappointed.

There is more room for improvement when it comes to their complimentary breakfast. Considering the fact that their in-house restaurant “The Fat Martin” is under renovation I’m sure they’ll spring back to perfection with regards to my aforementioned suggestion.

Overall, I’m very content and would wholeheartedly recommend The Wild Orchid Resort to anyone!

The resort is located at manageable distance from many beaches and other points of interest. The rooms were clean and the service was exceptional. Raj was always ready to assist us with whatever help we needed. The food from Fat Martin was really nice and affordable too. They even packed breakfast for us on all days as we had to leave early for our plans. Overall we would recommend this place.

Excellent stay at the Wild Orchid Resort! The manager was really friendly and helped us with every question we had. Really nice staff and atmosphere overall. We appreciated the non-plastic policy of the hotel, they offered us metal multiuse water bottles and the staff was always ready to fill those. I really recommend this hotel to everyone!

I stayed at the property for about 9 days and the experience and hospitality was incredible! Mr Raj was ever present and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well taken care of. The breakfast and food at Fat Martin was amazing. Mr. Raj also accommodated early breakfasts to help with my schedule of the day. Overall, it was a great experience!

Im surprised that the Wild Ochid has only 4 stars on Google. I spent 6 nights with my family at the resort. We booked the classic room with breakfast. It was a spacious room, clean, and with a modern bath room. A positive aspect was the front porch where we enjoyed some cool drinks after a long day at the beach (incense sticks provide). The service was exceptional! Raj and his team made everything possible that we could wish for, from detailed information about the island and its activities, recommendations for restaurants, arrangements for taxi pick ups and drop offs and more... We felt comfortable asking for any request. The breakfast was a buffet but you could also ask for freshly prepared items (juice, tea, egg, pan cakes...).
It was by far the best accommodations I have experienced in India. I strongly recommend this resort!

The resort is very hygienic and beautiful to spend holidays.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The manager of the hotel, Mr. Rajdeep, is an excellent gentleman. He was always on his toes to help us with things. My mother has serious mobility issues. He went out of his way to put up a temporary railing so that she could move easily. Many thanks to Mr. Rajdeep for this. The food from from their restaurant Fat Martin was average. Their old restaurant is under renovation. I am sure this will take care of the food situation.
