Christian Graveyard Mall Avenue Lucknow

This place has a quite serenity around it. What interested me was there are many graves dating back to Britisher's time(100+ years old). So Many graves of soldiers who died at as young as 20 years. I spoke to the caretaker of this place at length and he enthusiastically gave a me a tour and explained things. Once in a while, their descendents come here. I also Learned how these graves were built/dug to last. It's a living testimony to how they survived test of time of a century and still holding strong. There were few graves which are recently renovated (The tombstone were imported and it itself costed in Lakhs). I wish, there is more proper and systematic record keeping, regular cleaning and maintenance. So that, more people can visit this place of their ancestors Easily. Maybe some kind of digital record keeping to facilitate.
Apart from that, there are graves of converted Christians. May All their souls Rest in Peace.

I have few words - Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones because regret is stronger than gratitude.
This place has memories in it's own. There are many old graves since Britishers were living in India. And the design and creation how they've made are just speechless. All are antique.

फिर एक दिन #गोराकब्रिस्तान भी जा पहुंचा जिंदा जैसे इंसानों के पास लिहाजा वहां हुकुम पर अमल हुआ और ऐतहासिक मिलिट्री अफसरों की आरामगाह से सटा कर मकान दर मकान बनते ही चले गए।
