Never tasted anything great like this before. We had their virundhu that had unlimited servings of various chicken,mutton dishes. Everything was of unique taste and top class. We were treated like their personal guests. A must place to eat in Coimbatore

Unique and authentic home made non-veg feast. Their hospitality is so warming and you will not feel like eating in a hotel at all. More than 15 varieties are served each one being unique and tasty and the food is unlimited. One of the best food I have ever tasted and a must visit place in coimbatore☺👍

The food is prepared by the owner himself just like a home food . Every dish is good and they even have a nonveg pickle. They have a special chicken thigh roast and it tastes yum. Kannanannan (KA) was a first time and unique experience in Coimbatore (CB). Coming in from the cold (almost literally – read Canada), I had no idea of the heat blast that my palette was to face. Tucked away in one of the major streets in RS Puram, KA is run by a family of 2 brothers and their mother in honor of their father, Kannan, who loved to entertain, loved his food and was known for his big heart. Having been used to “Pure Veg” tags in restaurants, KH says “Pure Non-Veg”, which was refreshing but in the afternoon temperature, was the sign of things to come. The lead chef trained in the UK has his own take on Kongu naadu cuisine - native to the Coimbatore area. The Omakase philosophy underpins the menu of the day, which is brought to life by the ingredients (mostly local) available that day. Indeed, there is no menu to choose from. Every dish is made from scratch and no food stored overnight. A limited number of about 450 plates are prepared each day and only open for lunch (please call in advance) Recipes are rotated over the week with no 2 days having the same menu. The presentation is typical home-style i.e. unlimited amounts of 15 dishes of mutton, chicken and egg plated over rice on a plantain leaf. We had goat head, brain, innards and muscle meats while chicken was prepared in 5 different ways including dishes containing mint. The pepper levels (both black and cayenne) were pretty high for the average palette, but interestingly kinder on the stomach, especially the morning after. Chicken fried in traditional fish frying batter was one of the highlights as was the goat innard stew containing liver and intestine. Don’t be surprised if you’re overwhelmed after 3 courses. The amounts and flavours are intense. Its almost like stepping into a home, which is true especially as the chefs’ home abuts the restaurant. Dessert was home-made yogurt with honey foraged from the nearby Nilgiri mountains. I could have happily dined on that one thing alone. The contrast between the main course and dessert flavors was polar opposites where the heat was immediately cooled down and the taste buds returned to normal by the honey-yogurt mixture. For Rs 450 (~9 CAD), I witnessed first-hand a wild and exotic spice dance on my tongue, all of which was subsumed in the dessert. All in all a very satisfying experience and look forward to returning.

To be very Frank, It’s a under rated Restaurant!!
We went after nearly 5-6 years back!! They have just increased by 20% but the quality nd quantity is increased by 100%

They serve full meals course starting with

4 Chicken items - Mali Chicken, Ginger chicken,
Nathu Kozli Varuval , Chicken fry like fish fry.

4 Mutton Items - Kodal Fry, Mutton Varuval, Thala Kari, Brain Thokku ( Bit Spicy nd Salty) Specially to mix with curd rice nd eat.

Half Full boiled Egg

Then they serve rice with chicken gravy nd mutton gravy which was just awesome in taste!!

Finally finished with curd with honey which was new nd taste good.

Over all 5/5 !! A must try Hotel if ur a foodie.

Taste was soo good and it was not that much powder or chemical content ..it taste like home made and full unlimited is good deal I had 4times again taste was soo yummy and there service was good and well cleaned and maintained parking should we park in road

Awesome and tasty home prepared customized menu with special attention and care. Surprisingly, never felt over filled even after having heavy lunch. All the dishes are very very tasty particularly Chicken gravy, pachcha milagai Talai curry, Kudal, mint juice and even more. Worth to visit.

Taste is very good, hospitality is equally good.

They have plenty of varieties and definitely worth the price.

Everything from top to bottom was good especially lemon juice was top notch. Until the last moment they didn't say everything was unlimited, Price was also pretty high.

Lovely meals experience , 4 varieties of semi dry chicken preparation , one fried chicken, 3 types of mutton preparation , eggs , yoghurt with honey . It was a sumptuous meal. Overall great experience @ Rs 550 per person .. service professional was very helpful and which ever you prefer there were second helping of meat etc..

Place is clean and hygienic (seems like house converted to resto ) not great in terms of ambience.

A perfect place for non veg treat. All varieties of chicken and mutton are available. Many varieties which can't be get from other hotels can be get here. It is only good for people who eat all types of non veg foods or you might waste it. The place looks like a home and feels like homely food. As its a unlimited buffet the price is little expensive but worth for money. Good for Family functions and office lunch. The place located is inside the complex. It is difficult to find. The customer service are very caring and providing food with love. Parking is not available as the vehicles should park at road sides.

The hospitality is very nice! The food is prepared by the owner himself just like a home food , doesnt give you any heart burns , ulcer or other gassy feel.. just like the cook said we were hungry for the night even after a heavy lunch there.. very satisfying lunch.. good amount of varieties , unlimited food and side dishes !
