Archana theater remains perfect interms of sound effect and seat comfort.... but you should get a tall guy in front seat.... prefer elite class... it previously called as balcony.... you can enjoy well in balcony first row... plenty of spacing

Baba Cine Complex that houses Archana & Darsana theatres were the most sought after destination for movie buffs in Coimbatore in the 80s and 90s before the dominance of multiplexes . I personally have innumerous nostalgic moments with these theatres. Jurassic Park, Speed, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Gentleman, Kadhalan, Bombay, Jeans, Vaali, Alaipayuthey, Iruvar, Rhythm were some of the iconic movies I watched during my school and college days in the gigantic 70mm screen of Archana theatre. The theatre was impeccably tidy then and it was a remarkable experience watching movies here with the advent of Dolby sound system. It is sad to witness the state of Baba complex these days. I request the management to do all that is required to restore the legacy of these theatres.

When I was in school days mostly I will go flim to this theatre when cut my school.... More than 10 years back once again I went to this theatre with my daughter...... It is same like when I was in school... Nice memories.... ☺☺☺

One of the worst theatre ever seen in Coimbatore.
An incident happened to me was, " I asked tickets in ticket counter for Thiruchitrambalam FDFS 8AM show! (Which is already in TicketNew). Then they said, 'In my system it's not available try to book at TicketNew itself and behaved rudely' after the long conversation, I came to my home. Then! One of my Instagram follower shares his story by getting tickets in counter for Thiruchitrambalam at this same theatre. ~ I felt so depressed while seeing this :(

Dear Baba Cinemas, This is totally unfair! We Cinephiles are there to enjoy the theatrical experience only. But your employees are not working for your theatre properly. When (Cineholic) persons prefer OTT, it is great loss for all Theatres.
THIS IS ISSUE IS NOT HAPPENED FIRST TIME TO ME. IT'S N TH TIME. So kindly don't repeat this again. This experience will be shared to all moviebuffs groups to know this SCAM. Try to sortout this issue by this time itself. Thanks for you great Experience 😊.

Good theatre, nearly maintained. Bit congested with parking and walking areas during crowded times. The seating is bit low so kids and short people can find it difficult. The parking is also an issue. Getting in and out of the theatre is also an cumbersome job. Good screen and sound system . Comfortable seating and leg space. Theatre is on a one way
