Overnight stay. Elegant hotel gradually being refurbished. Refurbished harbour view room well equipped. Bars and restaurant both stylish with good choice and quality. Service excellent. We left a bag in our room and they sent it to the airport in a taxi for us.outstanding!

I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Gateway Hotel. The warm and efficient check-in set the tone for a fantastic experience. The room was a haven of comfort,

At Taj Vivanta, the only thing worth mentioning is the room, as well as the view of the backwater from the room. Another delicious breakfast.breakfast was amzing and fresh.The room was neat and clean. It can be said that it is a very quiet room. What we liked the most were the two girls who came to clean the room. Very, very polite behavior. They came to our room only with a smile on their faces.Everything we asked for was arranged for us without any hesitation and without any delay in housekeeping. Needless to say, they deserve the most praise. We do not know the names of the two girls. But one thing is known. Two girls who are sincere, honest and punctual towards the work they do. We will get a single number for all the room service reception restaurant. It is very hard.

We were apprehensive about our stay due to the ongoing renovations. However, while there was noise from construction work, we enjoyed our stay a lot. The team is absolutely lovely and makes all the difference. We had two suites that were very comfortable even though they maybe are a bit tired. View was lovely. Location is very central. We will be back.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Bubble Cafe at Thaj Gateway. The food, staff service and ambience were awesome! The icing on the cake was eggless triple layered chocolate mousse offered as surprise gift! They made her eve most memorable! Thank you Shaji and team for your exceptional service 💐

We stayed in 114 , 115 and 117 we had a great stay and the management was too good . At the restaurant we had ordered Tom yum soup and it was not made a per Thai style the food and beverage manger mr sajneesh Nair was there at your table and apologised and made sure the we are happy . I travel a lot to Taj’s great team and great stag like Mr Sajneesh keeps your taj name hats off and really will come back for the kind gesture and service at your hotel must say it best for family

I stayed here for 3 nights with my family (2infants).

By far easily one of the best places I have ever stayed in terms of location and hospitality. Believe me when I tell you this, unintentionally because of the kids we literally tortured the staff, they all were so kind, they took care of everything with a smile.

Many people have posted reviews about the staff here being rude and bad service, but I saw the opposite of this. The place was extremely hospitable so that so it felt like home.

Ps:- furniture and accessories are a bit a old and needs renewal or work. But come one that’s not something to really worry about.

The rooms are need of a serious upgrade, I was informed that they are going into renovations soon and will be renamed as Vivanta after the renovation. The quality of food was excellent, we had some really authentic Kerala dishes at their restaurant.
People don't talk about it much but their spa is excellent as well and not very expensive too. The prices at the spa are on par with any other local spa.

Eldho at the restaurant is very hospitable and his suggestions on the menu was fantastic. Great ambassador for the brand.
