Veerangana jhalkari bai park is very small park near bus stand gwalior.there is a statue of veerangana jhalkari bai,an army tanker and small walking track.park is small bt for morning Yuga exercise it is very good.

This is shach a beautiful full park 🏞 and water fountain ⛲ is also very good . And a army tank is pleased on there. This is a more attractive things in the park tank.

The outer, larger pillarets display a base floral pattern reminiscent of a Mughal, Shahjahani style, while the slender, reliquary like containers also remind one of Jahangir and Nur Jahan. Clearly, Gwalior and its Maratha rulers still inhabited a post-Mughal world with classic, Timurid-Persianate idioms. A deliciously delicate, cusped arch emanating from the mouths of gargoyles and chariots in the spandrels tops the torana. The eclecticism continues in the space between the two sets of pillarets. While the winged celestial beings and the graceful niches with figures inside occupying what looks like the lalitasana posture are not quite out of the ordinary and hark back to the larger Ancient and early-Medieval flavour that this façade conveys, the two large male figures flanking the door are certainly of a more recent vintage. With their particularly shaped pagri/headgear and the dhoti, they appear to my eyes distinctly Maratha and a further signifier of the identity of those who enjoyed hegemony over this city and this region. They stand contrasted with two similar gatekeepers at the main entrance of the Chhatri complex, who are attired and armed in a distinctly 'European' fashion - a conscious distinction, perhaps, between the modernized but 'foreign' infantryman on the exterior and the indigenous, historical Maratha soldier from the homeland who retained the honour of guarding the sanctum sanctorum.

Very brave and domestic but history has neglected her. Cast system is a threaten for India. Today cast for power.
