It was great experience of Scuba Diving with Barefoot Team. We were given orientation on Scuba Diving and training before taking dive into the sea. The trainers are experienced, well trained and humble. We were group of 10 persons & while going deep inside sea you really do not feel any weight of the equipment set under the water and the trainers make you comfortable while under the sea by giving tips from time to time. we enjoyed entire time slot of 45 minutes of dive. we were taken 18 meters deep into sea. As you go deeper you feel pressure on your ears but it can be alleviated with certain techniques taught by the trainers. The view of the underwater marine life was simply awesome. I could see variety of corals and fishes. For Scuba Diving.. Havelock is best. I was on honeymoon trip to Andaman and it was wonderful to click a photo with my Hubby under the water. It is a lifetime experience and the memories are everlasting.

One of my favorite place in the whole island. The beach there is so beautiful. The people are so nice and kids friendly. The food is really good. We did the activities they offer, they have two guides who know the nature very well. We enjoyed. We saw a lot of amazing fishes just by walking in the water. I don't know about the rooms because I didn't stay there.

Stayed here for 3 nights and the one time I ventured out of the property, I quickly headed back. Barefoot does nearly everything right.

A few small improvements…1) can you please have proper latches in the room! They are just so mis-aligned. 2) get socket points that can be used with other pins…only an Indian style doesn’t help. Would normally travel with an adapter, but with more hotels adopting a more universal plug point, assumed that we wouldn’t need one.
3) how about flattening the road? Not barefoot walkable with all the jagged rocks.
4) and lastly, how about keeping this out of bounds for under-16’s??? I came expecting peace and quiet and that certainly was not!

A must visit when in Havelock. Splendid access to Radhanagar beach, well trained and friendly staff to meet your needs. The bar at the reception has great cocktails and the food at the restaurant is very good too. PS: It is a bit on the pricier side of things.

We visited Barefoot for our honeymoon and i can say they are the best in what they do, beach is just few steps away reception and you can sit there and relax all day
, its an eco-friendly luxurious property, silent and serene. Food is good and staff is very friendly and helpful . Special mention to Dolly and Shrimoy on frontdesk.
We also took intertidal walk with their inhouse naturalist and i would strongly recommend it.

A paradise with a unique charm. It is nestled in the forests of Radhanagar with access to one of the best beaches in the country. The rooms and the concept of the property provided a relaxing environment for the entire duration of the stay 4 nights).

We loved everything about our stay at the barefoot. It is secluded and calm.It has the perfect balance of being close to nature and luxury.
The staff are very hospitable and the food is consistently good.
It has a very earthy feel and the 2min walk to the Radhanagar beach is beautiful. The path opens up to a rather secluded part of the beach which is really nice. They have nature activities like bird watching, intertidal walk and so much to learn about the island’s biodiversity.
Few important notes thats I read in other reviews and felt like misinformation
- they do not provide room service for food which completely makes sense considering the location
- there is wifi only in the reception area. It is meant to experience nature and that is a part of the charm of this place
-someone had written that the spa is an open tent kinda thing. That is not correct. The open tent is a kiosk to make bookings.
I would recommend this place!

When I arrived at the Barefoot Resort, directly on Radhanagar Beach, I was pleasantly greeted by Simran who thoroughly explained all of the details about this gorgeous resort while I took lots of notes. The villa they put me in was lovely, only two in that row. I stayed in number 27. They had a sign outside of the villa greeting you by name and a personal note written on top of the bed inside. The villa was very spacious and comfortable with air conditioning inside and a big outdoor covered bathroom with shower. The bed was very comfortable with a refrigerator that had snacks and drinks available for purchase. Every one of their staff members greeted me with a smile and helped me with anything that I needed. They all took pride in their work. They have their own private section on gorgeous Radhanagar Beach that has a lifeguard, beach mats and chairs. They also provided llchai tea to everyone at sunset. I highly recommend walking to the right hand side of the beach to watch sunrise around 5:30 AM. This beach is known for its gorgeous sunsets. Sunrise is also worth watching but not nearly as good as watching the sunrise on Kalapathar Beach that starts around 4:30 AM. I would like to thank the handsome and charming bartenders Nirmal Naik and Shravani Darshimbe who took care of anything and everything that you needed from 11 AM until 11 PM daily. You could also order from the restaurant and eat in the reception or at the bar. The food at the restaurant, The Swimming Elephant, dedicated to Rajan who passed away in 2016 at 68 years old, was phenomenal. It is pricey compared with eating at the various places on the island but 100% worth every rupee in my opinion. This resort strives for excellent quality in everything that they do. It’s not designed for travelers on a budget. Everything was top quality. My favorite fish was their grilled yellowfin tuna cooked perfectly seared on the outside and raw on the inside. It was some of the best tuna that I had eaten anywhere in the world. I can’t thank chef Trilochan and the entire restaurant staff for allowing me to do a cooking class in their kitchen making daab chingri with tawa parartha so I could learn how to make this at home. They even gave me a chef’s hat to wear with everyone who was cooking there. It was outstanding! This opportunity was priceless for me. I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity. I would like to thank Jack, Krishna Kumar, Amanta Manna and Vetha who served me at the restaurant. Their entire staff was very friendly please forgive me if I didn’t mention your name. Thank you for many excellent dining experiences. The staff at the front desk was also very friendly and helped me out with numerous requests and information. Thank you to Simran, Susmitha and Joseph for everything who worked at the front desk. There were some other staff members at the front desk who also helped me. One gentleman helped me with purchasing my ferry ticket to leave Havelok. I forgot his name but I would like to thank all of their staff very much for everything that they did to help me even if your name wasn’t mentioned. I had an amazing time at your resort. I highly recommend staying here!

Nothing but only the best of things to say. We stayed at Barefoot Scuba in Havelock and the staff and customer service was impeccable. It feels like we made friends - from the cafe staff to the reception.

We also visited the Radha Nagar beach Barefoot resort and the level of service was impeccable as well. My family of 9 was beyond impressed. Special shoutout to Rakesh at Barefoot Scuba. He singlehandedly rescued our vacation.

We more than appreciate Barefoot, we owe the entire team gratitude for the service extended toward us.

Highly recommended!

Best hotel in Havelock. Do not recommend taking package deal from them. Book rooms and other facilities l i ke taxi, ferry etc separately. While the hotel staff was excellent, we did not have very good experience dealing with backend staff

It's a pure bliss in paradise. It's not your average stay. It's an experience that hooks you from the get-go. Whether you are a luxury lover, nature nut or just need a break from reality, barefoot nails it.

Amazing place. Beach was only a very short walk from reception area. Great for a digital detox as no WiFi, TV or phone in the cabins.
Cabins are really comfortable

It's a cozy place right next to the radhanagar beach, which can be accesses by walk from the resort. More natural setting with lot of grown trees and good food and hospitality.

Excellent place. We had a great stay here in the Andaman Cottage. The Radhanagar beach is beautiful and so is the resort. The staff here is very courteous and helpful and always willing to help. The Andaman cottages are spacious with a nice wrap around deck to spend the beautiful mornings amongst forest. The restaurant on site offers tasty food with varied menu specials every night. Overall an excellent stay. The only couple of things that could be addressed - fix the approach road to the resort from the main road and provide some beach services such as loungers etc.

We went for candle light dinner at barefoot and the experience was amazing.. our attendant, Dilip Ji was a local who had wonderful stories about the island.. He made sure that our dinner date was simply mesmerising.. The starry night, beach, waves, music in the backdrop.. “Jaise filmo me hota hai, Ho raha tha hubahun” 😁
Thank you chef for the wonderful food and Dilip Ji & Barefoot for its fantastic service.. 👍
