Dr. Praveer Agarwal | Best Interventional Cardiologist in Fortis Hospital | Okhla

I am writing with a heavy heart to express my profound concern about the untimely death of my father, attributable to the gross negligence of Dr. Praveer Agarwal, a Cardiologist at Fortis Hospital.
My father was under the continuous supervision of Dr. Praveer Agarwal at Fortis Hospital since December 2022, when he first experienced breathlessness. After thorough medical evaluations and diagnostics, the medical team suggested angioplasty. Subsequently, my father was admitted, and the angioplasty was performed. However, after the procedure, Dr. Praveer Agarwal insisted on repeating the angioplasty the next day for a Stent Procedure, which is typically done during the initial angioplasty. This decision, seemingly influenced by external factors, caused my father extreme pain on two consecutive days. Despite the hospital declaring him fine, his condition deteriorated over time.
Five months later, my father experienced similar breathlessness, and we sought medical attention from Dr. Praveer Agarwal at Fortis again. Despite normal blood tests and ECG results, Dr. Praveer Agarwal recommended another unnecessary angioplasty, leading to severe blood loss and a decline in my father's health. Subsequent tests at another hospital revealed that my father was suffering from Stage 4 cancer. Unfortunately, within a month of this diagnosis, we lost him.
It has come to our attention that the interventions performed by Dr. Praveer Agarwal were not only medically inappropriate but also directly contributed to the irreversible deterioration of my father's health, leading to his untimely death.
For Dr. Praveer Agarwal and Fortis, this may be one professional case, but for us, it has turned our entire world upside down. I am left questioning why the doctor and the hospital failed to diagnose the condition in December or why it escalated to Stage 4 within a month. The repeated performance of unnecessary angioplasties instead of correctly diagnosing the illness constitutes a clear case of negligence.
This complaint serves not only as an appeal for justice for my father but also as a warning to make other patients aware of the potential risks associated with Dr. Praveer Agarwal's practice. We hope that this unfortunate incident prompts a thorough investigation and necessary actions to prevent similar situations in the future with somebody else.

I wish there could be an option of giving a minus review. My father went for a routine check up but he did angiography in a hush hush manner and did not bother to show me the blockage, if at all there was any. My father always had a complaint of chest pain even after his obnoxious procedure. He is the worst Doctor and just mints money for his Institution.
God save from such doctors.

He is a pathetic doctor and just does not care about lives of patients…
