Best collection of heritage weapons, especially revolvers and pistols that i have seen anywhere in India....This is a small but very unique museum. Walls are adorned with majestic lifesize portraits of erstwhile rules. Overall a very well maintained museum, which gives you a heritage feel from the moment you walk in.. Also worth a look on the first floor is a rare collection of elephant saddles.

The Durbar Hall is probably an early 20th century building, with a large hall for the Nawab's court and public meetings. Here, there is a clutter of silver-covered furniture, European glass lamps and chandeliers, mirrors and a glass tree, with a woollen rug made by prisoners in Junagadh (or Junagarh) jail. Everything is dusty, and the decor is crumbling.
There and in the corridors are gifts and letters given to the Nawabs by their subjects and visitors.
There is a portrait gallery with paintings of the rulers of the different princely states of Saurashtra; a display of palanquins (similar to sedan chairs), enclosed miyanas to carry the royal ladies in, in purdah. Also a splendid ambari, or elephant saddle for the Nawab, elephant driver and bearer during processions. There are displays of textiles, and of armaments. Further developments are planned, but much work is required on the fabric of the building and displays to bring it up to the standards of 21st century museums.

One of the old place for historical weapons, clothes and things. Price of ticket is very reasonable but if you want to click the pics of things then you have to pay 10time more of the ticket. It is under 1km from busstand so anyone can come here by walk with the help of Google Maps. Visit if you come to Junagadh.

Lovely place, with a nominal entry fee of ₹5. If you wish to click pictures there's a fee of ₹100. Please do do, there are some amazing artifacts which are worth photographing. The collection is not very well curated but it's a private collection, so I suppose that's understandable.

Excellent Museum depicting Nawabs rule in Junagadh. The collection of items and placement in the museum is interesting. However the museum is not very big. Entrance fee rs.5/- and camera (even through mobile) is rs.100/-.

Best collection of heritage items. Weapons, especially Revolvers and Pistols. This is a small Museum, but unique one. Walls are adorned with majestic lifesize portraits of erstwhile rulers. Overall a very well maintained Museum, which gives you a heritage feel from the moment you walk in. The Nawabs ruled over Junagadh. Last Nawab flew to Pakistan. The whole history of Junagadh one can come to know from there.
