The temple was illuminated in colourful lights and a live programme of devotional music by a young boy and a young girl was on. They appear to be well trained in classical music and made the devotees listen to their songs in utter silence.

I visited Shree Mangesh temple with my family during our trip to Goa. It is a beautiful and serene temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is worshipped here as Lord Mangesh. The temple complex is well-maintained and has a spacious courtyard, a water tank, and a seven-storeyed lamp tower. The main shrine has a silver-plated entrance and a golden dome.

This is such a beautiful temple of Shiva in Goa. Once you enter the main temple complex you definitely feel good vibes and Shiva’s blessings. We visited on a wednesday and hence did not face amy rush and had great darshan.
Yoh have to walk around 300-400 meters from the parking area to reach the temple complex. Also, there is a nice market on the entire way to temple from parking having shops like clothing, souvenirs, fruit shops, etc. I would highly recommend visiting this place if you are in Goa.

The Mangesh temple or the Manguesh Devasthan is perhaps the most famous of all Goan temples.Temple is a magnificent structure, photography inside the temple is not allowed.Nicely maintained temple with brahmins handling the temple. The entire ambience is too good.There is a prominent Nandi Bull and a beautiful multi story lamp tower inside the temple complex. Definitely worth a visit.

A famous temple and a tourist destination in Goa. There is a large Temple pond in front of the Temple. The temple (and its premises) is situated in a sprawling area, with several buildings as part of the Temple complex.

On the way to panjim. Its a very good temple. You have to waer full pants and ladies have to wear proper attire. Also if you have waer western clothes its pkay you can always cover with some duppata.

Canteen food its very good for 100 rupee.

The new canteen is good. It opens early in the morning, and the food is good.

Temple authorities are very particular about what dress you wear and how you behave inside the temple premises, so take care to be quiet, covered, and traditional.

Khanaval is there outside for meals. Transport autos and taxis are available.

If you are doing abhishek of god inside the garba griha of temple, then rules are more strict.

Room accommodation is there if family diety. Need to book in advance.
