Over all mujhe boht accha laga is masjid me namaz padhkar bas mujhe aik chiz aur chahunga ki waha par ho wo hai wazu ka pani saaf karne ke liye aik tauliya.

Assalamualikum, Mashallah, it's one of the most peaceful , spacious & beautiful Mosque in Dehradun on main EC road near Petrol Pump. Its mostly full during Friday Prayers, so make sure you reach before 1230 IST. People if you've been there or visit someday you wil hear the beautiful Qiraat in namaz by the Imaam which will melt your heart. May Allah bless you all & make us firm on deen. Ameen.

Nice place every person loves it situated at paltan bazaar muslim comes here for prayer and many other people can view it as they want no one allows the restrictions. Makkah Masjid, located at Makkah Chowk Dehradun is a large mosque. It has a very beautiful building. Good looking, has great view. Basic facilities like drinking water, water for Wuzu, toilets, fans, AC, carpet etc available. It is a Juma Masjid, where Juma prayer offered. Since, it is a large mosque, hundreds of people order their prayers at once.

One if the great monuments build by the Mughals. It's free to visit, there is no tickets or charges to visit the masjid. But you may need to pay to go to the Minar (Tower). It's a huge masjid with the capacity of around 25000 people. I love the Pigeons there. People offer some seeds (food) for the Pigeons. You will find people often coming for the photoshoots. The Jama Masjid has three main entrance gates. Gate number one is situated at South, this is one of the side gates known as Abdullah Gate and surrounded by the market famous for the food. Gate number 2 is situated at East, this is the front gate and surrounded by Mina Bazar. Gate number 3, this is situated at North and surrounded by the Hardware market.

This is a very good masjid in that location. We used to offer friday namaz here during our stay in Dehradun for more than 2 months i visited this place almost every friday.
Friday namaz was around 1:20pm.

Near this masjid Mr. Aabid Qureshi, fish merchant who deals in fishes and can supply fishes all over Uttarakhand nd near by states.
Very good and polite natured owner.

Namaz e jummah is here at 2:30 pm at convenient time for those who are doing jobs.Namaz difference between paltan bazar and maachi bazar is 15 minutes fo all days except jummah namaz.
