visited the Maharaja Sawai Mansingh museum and was impressed with the collections exhibited. The City Palace in Jaipur was built between 1729 and 1732 under the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and later additions were made to the palace complex till the 20th century by his successors of the Kachwaha Rajput clan

Beautiful place and really well maintained, really different than other places in Jaipur because everything is restored and clean. There are many guards and even a restaurant. The gift shop has many nice things too! In many of the rooms photos are not allowed

Weapon and textile section is best.
Shopping area is good.
Perfumes in shopping centre are the best.

It is houses in City Palace Jaipur. It is perfect combination of the Mughal and Rajasthani style of architecture. This museum is known for its huge collection of art, carpets, enamel wares and 15th century weapons

Its musta and always have a guide because there are a lot of amazing things to see without guide and story behind it its just random stuff. They provide an audio guide and its worst , out of 100 things it only explains like 30 so don't get that, also there are many people inside the palace who will be ready to guide you at Rs. 100 pls be sure they are authorized you can ask them any guide license or authorization kind of stuff. Remember One can also get composite ticket
