The museum is located inside the City Palace in Jaipur and is dedicated to the life and legacy of Maharaja Sawai Mansingh II. The displays were well organized and thoughtfully curated. The City Palace in Jaipur was built between 1729 and 1732 under the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and later additions were made to the palace complex till the 20th century by his successors of the Kachwaha Rajput clan

Beautiful place and really well maintained, really different than other places in Jaipur because everything is restored and clean. There are many guards and even a restaurant. The gift shop has many nice things too! In many of the rooms photos are not allowed

Its musta and always have a guide because there are a lot of amazing things to see without guide and story behind it its just random stuff. They provide an audio guide and its worst , out of 100 things it only explains like 30 so don't get that, also there are many people inside the palace who will be ready to guide you at Rs. 100 pls be sure they are authorized you can ask them any guide license or authorization kind of stuff. Remember One can also get composite ticket
