One of the most humble and nicest doctor I have come across. The whole staff has been so cooperative. I being doctor my self was worried before surgery but slowly under care of dr mahajan and his team i was relieved of my pain and recovering pretty well.

Hello All, my mother was suffering from severe knee pain for last 10 years. This was deteriorating year by year. Her spine also got affected. Knee replacement was recommended but my mother could not nurture enough confidence from shifting to implant to natural knee joint. However quality of life was diminishing. Than i heard of Dr Rakesh Mahajan, senior joint replacement expert. I got my mother examined and after thorough examination Dr Mahajan suggested for both knee replacement as only option. He and his team efficiently guided us through all stages of Surgery. Surgery was performed at BLK Max hospital on 17.6.23. Surgery process was smooth and operation was a sucess as told. However not to rush for the review. I waited for the stitches to be removed. Which is done on 10.7.23.
My mother is now happy and satisfied. Feeling relieved of pain and surgery trauma.

I had gone knee surgery(ACL) on 29.04.2023 in BLK MAX.I have good experience with you and felt very safe and comfortable during surgery. When I met you, I also mentioned when I met you on 15.05.2023 in BLK MAX that Mr. Bharat in your team, helped me a lot to get book room in hospital and to get all bills of implant etc. whereas he did not know me. He has very friendly nature and courteous.

First and foremost I strongly recommend Dr. Rakesh Mahajan , Dr. Pramod and their team for consultation on orthopedic problems associated with shoulder, hip, knee. The recommendation is based on following great experiences, I had of Doctor Rakesh Mahajan , Dr. Pramod and their team.
1. Firstly, my mother was neither able to do any work with right hand nor sleep right side because of accute shoulder pain from 2 years and had consulted more than 10 doctors. In 2021 , I accidentally took an appointment with Dr. Mahajan at BLK Max Hospital. Both doctor Rakash and Dr. Pramod explained each and every aspect of problem in detail and suggested arthroscopic rotary cuff replacement surgery. Their detailed explanation made me to straightway take the decision to go for it . Within 42 days of surgery , my mother was able to use her right arm normally and could sleep rightways without any issue.
2. My mother aged 62 was not able to walk properly and was on continuous medication ( mostly painkillers) from 2016. We had consulted number of doctors from Kashmir to PGI Chandigarh to Delhi. But the treatment was common i. e painkiller and physiotherapy. These were always short term reliefs for my mother. As soon as the pain killer was stopped, the pain persisted again. Earlier experience with Dr. Mahajan and Dr. Pramod for shoulder surgery of my mother made me straightway consult them . After, X-ray, they suggested for both knee replacement. Before, taking decision, the doctor addressed my all queries and boosted the morale of patient. On 4th February, 2023 , the surgery was successfully carried. On 3rd day of surgery, the patient was even practised for stair climbing. Within 12 days of surgery, my mother started walking normally ( even without need of Walker or walking stick) .
By nature, Dr. Mahajan, Dr. Pramod and all their team members are very patient friendly , coperative and helpful. Their coordinators Ms. Sakshi ( earlier one) Mr. Bheem( current one) are very professional and meticulous in guiding and helping the patient in all necessary formalities for surgery. They are doing excellent work. Special thanks to them.

I am really impressed by Doctor Sir treatment, my mother was on emergency treatment, her knees were lock and pain was continous even on sitting, even cannot walk on walker!! Dr Sir replaced my mothers knees with gold plated knees, and with his treatmemt and God s grace my mother was able to climb 2 floor after the discharge frim hospital.

Physio will continue for next 1 month as per normal!!
