Excellent service , food and atmosphere . It is very good. It is as good as renting a private island. You can play football , swim and play volleyball near the beach. We also get to do boat riding. The staff was very courteous. The food was amazing. One of the best resorts . I would highly suggest to people

Location is beautiful. Easy access. Cottages with river views is a rare treat for a metro resident.Food is simply great- the Chef takes pride in his art and serves mouth watering, made to order fresh and tasty food. Rooms are comfortable and decent. The rooms don’t have electric kettles to enable the early risers to have their morning cuppa. If peace and quiet amidst nature is what you’re looking for, this is the holiday that awaits you.

Vihangama Holiday Retreat is one of the excellent places to visit and unwind. The rooms are very well maintained, the property itself is beautiful and serene. The staff are extremely courteous and the service was amazing. The highlight of this place for me was the food in the restaurant. Each course of food was so scrumptious and flavorful, chef Yashwanth was very cordial in checking up with us on the dishes and all the cuisines listed were perfectly cooked. The care taker of the property Nitish made sure that the rooms were cleaned every single day and checked up on us regularly to make sure we were at ease. The river boating experience provided was very unique. Overall it was definitely worth the visit.

Extremely good resort situated amidst nature inside 25 acre estate. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Access to the magnificent Tunga river is an added advantage. One should try the boating experience here. Kudos to the entire staff members.

Revisited the property after more than a decade. Has some great improvement in terms of the cottages and a restaurant. Quite pricey for the location but also quite a unique property.

Given the pricing, one would expect everything to be prim and proper. Star prices deserve star services. But this place needs some changes to get there.

The manager seems quite disinterested in any service after he has convinced you to pick up the cottages. The phone in the cottage was not functional. Bathroom fixtures are unmaintained. We could not get the mixer to work and ended up getting scalding water. The manager sent some inexperienced staff to deal with it. Finally when nothing worked after nearly 45 minutes. He came and tried fixing it himself with no luck. He told us the issue would be fixed after we heck out. We intended to stay another day. But after this incident we simply checked out.

We lost a good 1 hour due to this and had a delayed start to our day. Even at checkout the manager did not have the courtsey to apologise for the issues or delays.

The restaurant on property is a good addition & the food is good. However, the portions do not do justice to the pricing. Exorbitantly priced for the portions and offerings. Food is not so expensive even at a star property in Bangalore city.

The rest of the staff are quite professional, sweet and fit perfectly into the picture.

Service and food is too good .. very relaxing peaceful resort.. staffs are very friendly and helpful..

Beautiful and well maintained resort. Food is awesome, the best part is, you have pvt access to Tunga river via resort, so it is easily accessible and enjoy the scenic beauty with the river backdrop.

A much needed break.. fulfilled by such amazing hospitality, ambience,food and service.... tasty food.. lovely location by the river....you could just breathe the peace and calm there.... will go back very soon for sure.. thank you Vihangama..you were great 😃..!!

Booked a river side villa.
Location & Room: The location and the room was very good, hygenic and clean. The room size cud have been a bit bigger(but no concerns as such). Its near to the places of interest. The river bed next to the property is good place to spend quality time

Food: The food is very good. Its light and tasty. Special shout to the chef who takes personal interest to talk to guests. The home made wine needs a mention

Service: quick and smiling service. The staff are smiling and helpful

Overall: Good place to relax and spend time. Good service and food. A bit on expensive side. But worth it. Definitely recommended. Kudos to the owner for maintaining the quality.

The resort is in very beautiful and lovely place in between arachanut trees and river it is so calm and cool in summer season too. I was so impressed by their hospitality and I need to say about food it's delicious and mouthwatering.i tried malnad special over there it's just mind-blowing very food has wow factor in it. The chef Yashwanth personally taken care about our food and I surely want to visit once more .......

Property is located amidst areca plantation and there's a river view from here. We booked a studio, cozy room which was very clean. Staff were very polite and food was tasty as well. Would definitely recommend if u are looking for a stay near Thirthahalli. We would definitely come back for a staycation here :)

It’s very calm and beautiful place. The location of the property is highlight, away from the roads and amidst the Areca palms and it’s serene and peaceful. U can spend hours sitting anywhere in solitude. The river bank is an additional attraction , it’s not that risky to get into waters and kids can play as well or else just sit by the bank and find your moment.
The maintenance is borderline which needs improvement like bathrooms linens and towels. But they have not compromised on hygiene and cleanliness.
Food is good and is freshly prepared , the breakfast buffet is limited compared to regular resorts but tasty, so it’s still fine. Any season should be fine to visit , but post monsoon would be best to visit any place in this Malnad region.

This is an amazing place for stay the staff is amazing and food is amazing. They have started a new boating programme where they take you on a boat for around 45 min in the exquisite beauty of nature.
The price is also nominal and with the facilities they provide it is worth visiting.

First thing we loved the property and the cleanliness. They have maintained it very well. Rooms were clean. They were taking all covid precautions. Food was good and tasty. Staffs were helpful and very polite. The property is situated in the mid of the nature lap and down the lane if u walk u come across river. U can spend a quality time with ur family. Even i was bit skeptical before booking by seeing the google reviews. But its all worth the money. Thanks for the lovely hospitality vihangama.

It was really a nice time spent @Vihangama. It is a true gem of nature at the bank of Tunga River. We stayed at River View Villa. Food was delicious. Little Costly but okay to Enjoy.
