Ponda Sports Complex

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Ponda Sports Complex, and overall, I was quite impressed with the facilities and the atmosphere. This complex is undoubtedly a valuable asset, especially as it's designated for the National Games in 2023. Here's a breakdown of my experience:

**Well-Maintained Facilities (★★★★☆):**
The Ponda Sports Complex boasts well-maintained sporting arenas that cater to a variety of sports enthusiasts. The cricket ground and the football field are in excellent condition and provide a great space for athletes to practice and compete. The overall cleanliness of the complex is commendable, and it's evident that the management takes pride in its appearance.

**Room for Improvement (★★★☆☆):**
While the complex is undoubtedly impressive, there are a few areas that could use some attention:

1. **Swimming Pool Sitting Area (★★☆☆☆):** The seating area around the swimming pool could be improved. Currently, it lacks the comfort and aesthetics that one would expect at a sporting complex of this caliber. Adding more comfortable seating options and perhaps some shade would greatly enhance the experience for spectators and athletes alike.

2. **Ventilation in Badminton Court (★★★☆☆):** The ventilation in the badminton court is somewhat lacking. It can get quite stuffy during peak hours, and this affects the overall playing experience. Installing better ventilation systems or large fans would make a significant difference in the comfort of the players.

3. **Ground Conditions (★★★☆☆):** While the main playing fields are in great shape, some of the secondary practice areas could use a bit more attention. Leveling uneven ground and ensuring consistent quality across all practice areas would be beneficial.

**Atmosphere (★★★★★):**
One of the highlights of the Ponda Sports Complex is the fantastic atmosphere. It's clear that this place is a hub for sports enthusiasts, and the energy is infectious. The enthusiasm of both players and spectators adds to the overall charm of the complex.

**Conclusion:**
In summary, the Ponda Sports Complex is a well-maintained and vital sporting facility, especially in the lead-up to the National Games in 2023. With a few improvements in the swimming pool seating area, ventilation in the badminton court, and the ground conditions, it could reach its full potential as a top-notch sporting venue. Centrally located, easy to reach, best walking path, safe. Best indoor and best outdoor. Best to be fit and healthy.

The complex has a swimming pool, badminton court, table tennis, cricket ground, walking/ jogging track.
Nicely maintained.

I am using badminton facility here. The courts are indoor and they are excellent. There are 6 of them. Many many excellent players come here to play. The membership fee is also very less. If you are in Ponda, you should visit this place once with your family. I am certain that some of you feel to work out here and be fit.
There is a running track also. It's nicely laid.

There are many sports facilities like judo,football badminton,cricket,football, archery etc.

Very good sport Complex which provides good training for swimming, Judo, Karate. They organise swimming classes every once in a while for a span of 20 days at an affordable price. Swimming pool is very big and deep. Outsiders are also allowed on hourly basis but medical certificate is must in order to enter the pool. Badminton court is also getting ready. They also have a cricket ground behind which includes football ground and walking track. People do come for working everyday in the morning.

The place is good. There is a running swimming pool, archery and football.
The stadium administration is modifying the ground and they are building some other sports related halls. Good to see there archery players.

Upgraded facility for sports in Ponda

Goood place to go for a walk. Running track newly renovated. Swimming pool is also their good one. Other sports activities are their too. Nice staff also.

Great place all outdoor sport including swimming. Training and coaching available, only gym is not available

Very nice complex for walking, jogging, running & sprinting. Subscription to badminton, table tennis, carrom etc is also available on chargeable basis.

In this sports complex you can get coaching for badminton, swimming, taekwondo, table tennis, cricket, gymnastics and many other sports.There is enough space for parking your car. The swimming pool is clean.

Very nice place with lot of activities. Best thing here is Swimming pool.. A BIG SWIMMING POOL with very less fees.
