Staff go with military discipline. Check in at 1200 means exact to seconds at stroke of 1200 noon. Just 10 minutes before, charged ₹500/- extra. Better plan to enter this hotel to check in at 1200 noon only, even though you arrive in Coimbatore airport or station or bus stand by early morning.

One of the oldest establishments in Coimbatore for rooms and lodging, big double rooms and service is excellent albeit a bit old but we'll maintained considering it was opened in 1983 and you have one of the legendary restaurant in Coimbatore for veg food, Annapoorna so no problem regarding food over there and it is located in Cross-cut road in Coimbatore, heart of the city with the bus stand and all shops at your fingertips

Spacious rooms and comfort. You can't find the modern amenities that rooms have like hair dryer, above 6A plug, You will have parking issues but Lodge people will try to get some place at the earliest.

Great place for a budget stay. The rooms are spacious and the sheets and washrooms are always cleaned well. Don't expect anything lavish. The amenities may be underwhelming as it is an old place. I go here because it works well for me.

Oldest probably the first if it's kind Hotel came in 1983 or so in Coimbatore. So rooms bear the old time look but well maintained and friendly staff. Located at the busiest Gandhipuram area surrounded by shops of all interests, theaters, local and outstation bus stations.

Spacious room and large bathroom with good restaurant nearby. Also good mega shops nearby . All in all awesome location.

The hotel is centrally located and very near to the bus stand. There are ample restaurants and shopping spots including Chennai silks and Ramraj nearby. Rooms were spacious and clean. Good service, but the price is Rs 1800/day for non AC which is high. Sree Annapoorna restaurant is inside the complex itself which serves good quality food.

Very good service. Just ring the bell,they will come to your room. You can easily walk to the bus stand. The famous annapoorna restaurant is just next to the hotel to have tasty food. The rooms are neat and clean. I liked the tea that they provide at 30 rs. only. The room rent is nominal according to the location. Overall excellent.

The legacy is being maintained by Hotel Sri Lakshmi by offering clean spacious rooms, very good service and ambience. The property is located in the middle of the prime shopping location in Coimbatore. It is at a walkable distance from the Gandhipuram bus stand. I have been using their facility for years and they maintain the quality of serving their patrons.

Nice hotel in cross cut road gandhipuram. It is in Lakshmi complex which has a good parking space. Whenever I visit cross cut road for purchases park vehicles and have snacks/food in Lakshmi hotel. Very well maintained. I personally love the coffee here. Good place for family or friends visit

Hotel in a centre place with clean room. Staffs are curtious. They can provide bottle water for each person instead keeping jug. It will be more useful if kettle is provided. Hope they will consider this and fulfill in future.

Very professionally managed hotel. Hotel is 40 years old. Best part is they provide hot water in room for drinking.

It may look old but situated in the heart of city (gandhipuram). Can easily reach bus stand (walkable distance). Many shopping opportunities nearby. Room is clean, spacious. AC, geyser are in good condition. Very good room service. Reception people are kind. Had excellent stay.

Walking distance from Gandhipuram bus terminus takes 4 minutes. Same complex have Annapoorna restaurant - one of the best veg restaurant in Coimbatore. Staffs are humble. Reception is with clear and crisp answers. Room service is not available. Old hotel but we'll maintained. Good for transfer family and budget friendly. Located at crosscut road so no worries about shops. Located inside big complex, definitely not mixed. Separate way, lobby and lift for hotel. Toilets and bathroom are clean. Car parking facility is ample.

One the best hotels, it is situated in the city center . Rooms are spacious, neat and clean.. Hotel is within laxshmi complex you'll find plenty on shops around.
Affordable prices budget friendly , staff's are polite .. hotels waiting lobby has nice ambience with sofas around .
Is is situated in a place which Is full of vibe , you can find multiple popular clothing and jewelry shops in one road..

Many wonderful temples are around to visit.
We had visited Ayappa temple, saradambal temple , koniamman temple, pattishwar temple dhanawantari temple .. must visit these ... filled with positive vibes.

I have been making regular visits to Coimbatore for the past 25 years and have ended up staying in this hotel. The location if unbeatable. It is on Cross-cut road. This road is a shopper's delight. You can get everything within walking distance of this hotel - Restaurants Shopping, Bus Stands.
Rooms are not fancy.. But at the price (doubles at around Rs. 1400) they are value for money!!! Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are spacious and clean too. They have an enclosed parking space for your car in the complex.Tip:If you visit Coimbatore, and you like banana chips, do try some at the A1 Chips shop in the Sri Lakshmi complex OR at Kovai Chips (opposite side of the Cross Cut Road). Specialty (which i dont get elsewhere) are the chips made from ripe banana. They are simply delicious
