Famous and one of the oldest Ganesha temples. The statue is very big. The area is clean and the temple is well maintained. There is a park with a water pond and the park is covered with trees. This park is maintained by the Forest department. The road from Bangalore to Kurudumale is very good.

Very old and beautiful temple near Mulbagal town. The statue of the deity is huge and one of the largest in India.

The place has ample parking space and toilet facilities. The gardens around the temple also are a must visit.

Absolute divine vibe !! 😇

Ganesh deity is so magnificent and pure bliss standing in front of idol 🙏
Main monolithic idol is 12 feet long and unique in its kind, This historical temple has great stories behind it and it is well connected by road.

Temple is under state treasure department and sad to see historical temples under state dept administration,
Because many temples which are under state dept are lack of basic facilities and State govt undertake temples only for the sake of revenue it generates and spend most of this money in elsewhere, they don't even bothered to provide some basic facilities like free drinking water, free food or Prasad, shelters, rest rooms, parking space for piligrims etc.
At the same time temples run by private trust or locally private administraton are providing necessary arrangements for its piligrins even when revenue is not good and most of these services are done by charities of good heart piligrims.
Best example is Chennakeshava temple near by to this Ganesh temple.

Notes:
1. Small village and perfect one day outing place for bengalureans, Please make sure you carry your essentials and no shops are available for food and liquids since its located in small village and you can see only small shops.
2. Around 15 mins is required to reach from Bengaluru-Chittoor highway, google map is perfect and leads to temple without any deviation or confusions.
3. Adequate parking space may gets over crowded on weekends and holidays.

The 12 foot idol is the main attraction here. The idol of Ganesha in the temple is believed to have been installed by the trimurthis -Brahma – The God of creation, Vishnu.

Very calm and peaceful atmosphere. Sufficient parking is available. Also the road is in good condition.

There are inscriptions on the temple wall that also lend evidence to the fact that Kurudumale Ganesha Temple was built during the rule of the Vijaynagara Kings. The inscriptions are all in Tamil and some even date back to the 13th century during the rule of the Hoysala Kings.

Lord Ganesha is made from Saligrama (a type of fossilised rock) and remained in the open space until Krishnadevaraya decided to build a temple with a roof.

This temple is a home to one of the largest idols, has a 13-and-a-half-foot Ganesha idol inside.

This Ganesha idol is said to established by Lord Bramha, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. As per the inscription this temple was built by the powerful king Krishnadevaraya in Vijayanagara Empire.

Temple has temple tank. Temple is very calm and neat. We can see tamil inscription in kannada language. Parking facility and Toilet facility is there.

This temple was initially built under the rule of the Cholas. At the time Ganesha idol was in open space. Later on the temple area came under the Vijayanagara Empire. In fact, the nearby Someshwara temple was built before the Ganesha temple and belongs to the Chola dynasty.

Devine and rich heritage temple, if visiting on auspicious days prasada and annadhana can be expected, lot or parking space available please try to go closer to temple because some parking space are available close by to entrance so it will be easy to access the temple and specially if carrying kids along. Opposite to the temple around 100mts forward there is shiva and devi temple which can be visited to experience old nostalgic divinity. The only thing annoying is this temple is, temple is famous for politicians and business people who come with police forces and black cats and block the darshanam for public crowd for long time.make sure to keep some fuel in vehicle because no fuel stations close by.

This place is truly powerful in terms of me getting my blessings come true. I had once lost my job and someone suggested that i visit this place and pray for my good fortune. Things turned out to go really well for me after I visited this temple and sought the blessings. After 6 long years when I visited this temple again to fulfil my wishes and offer my prayers for all that he's done for me, i was very much emotional and have made a special attachment with this spot. I wish to come here very soon.
