Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi

Shyam Lal College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, located in Delhi, India. It was established in 1964 and is named after the renowned freedom fighter Shyam Lal Gupta. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines such as Arts, Commerce, and Science. Here Students can get admission in various disciplines like BA , Bsc and Bcom.

Professors are very well educated and experienced.

Other Teaching and non teaching staff is also very good and appreciable.

Sports activities are also available here like Cricket, football and other

Teacher's are very polite and teaches very nice. Also management are working hard to keep maintain. Students are also good. Societies are nice. Good environment for students.

Overall everything is fine as its name.

Shyam Lal college known for its academic excellence faculty members are not good faculty does not known how to behave with students. This was my Exam Center of University Of Delhi.

All over good University .... But teacher's behaviour like unknowingly ... Even there not ask for glass of water ... But college staff serve refreshments for teachers during exam

I got admission in this college in year 2021 so basically I'm fresher 😂but my experience from past few months is amazing now we started going college after a long period of online class and the campus of college is really very nice❤ canteen isn't opened yett🥴😂 i wish i could visit canteen after some dayss and yes i like this college 😌❤✨

Could not say that it is perfect or what,main thing is it's a DU(Delhi University)which in itself matters a lot to most of the people and an institution or school or college is mainly by it's staff students and the circle which I see good in it

College is totaly good when I went here.

When I took admission here so I thought this college is not gud for me bcz I live in ggn so it's very far from me but by metro it's not far so I was coming everyday and who do not about this clg so don't imagine that it's not gud clg. Its gud clg so overall my experience was great professors are very gud but official staff is very rude which is ok bcz they have lots of bourdon. I am gonna tell uh that now clg is growing day by day clg has lots of societies, great infrastructure lots of greenery cafeteria has been good when I was coming cafeteria was not good if you are going to take admission here it's gonna be rocking I'll not say that I proud of being slcians but I have learnt lot of things from Shyam LAL college ❣❣❣

Shyam Lal is co-educational. The foundation stone of college was laid by Zakir Hussain, the then the Vice President of India and Chancellor of the University of Delhi.
The college is housed in its own building at G.T. Road, Shahadra, near Welcome metro station. In 2020 it was ranked 69th across India by National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2020.

One of the best canteens among colleges of DU. Economic and good quality, tasty food is offered. Rates are nominal but they do not compromise at all with the quality or taste. You will get almost everything here. Veg is served here. You can also have a great variety of food from basic starters to proper lunch meals.is no more cheaper but yeah it's good and I think non hinduiet would review this better than me.Good options of food available as compared to other canteens in DU. Pasta, rolls, shakes, juices everything! Thumbs up

Best college for commrce as well as science. Big playground, greenish campus. Well experienced teachers and supportive principal. All type of transport facility available to reache and easy to locate from Welcome Metro station.

It is a college under the prestigious university of delhi. Although it is not that famous college of north campus but still a good out of campus college catering to the needs of north east delhi students. The college is well connected. There is a bus stop within 100 metres of the college gate. Welcome metro station is also within 500 metres distance. The faculty is as good as any other college of delhi university and the only drawback is bad location and somewhat weak infrastructure. Although the infrastructure has improved a lot over the years and is continuously undergoing improvement.
The results of some department are now becoming at par with any other reputed univ of delhi college.

If you have committed to achieve something rather than blaming , Then Do Visit this college campus and feel the reliability.As think positive, result positive. Well, It's a platform to fulfill require studies under the guidance of University of Delhi.Ranked 43rd among top institutions in India.Campus is green and famous for Hockey tournaments, having a beautiful ground and nice infrastructure.Enjoy different cultural societies, NSS & NCC .Teachers and mentors are very polite and experienced ,Should proud for everyone , to be a student here.
