Google private place to enjoy with your family. Non veg foods are available outside. 15mins walk to reach the falls

The place is very well maintained. You need to walk a km to reach the falls.Battery cars are provided too. The place was breezy and fresh. Could spot a lot of butterflies too. The water was clean and you spot little fishes that nibble your feet. Recommended for a weekend get away.

We have visited the kumbakarai falls on 9th April 2023. It is located nearby periyakulam in Theni district..

The way to kumbakarai falls is covered with mango Farm and it was so lovely..

The timing is from morning 8 to evening 4.
After 4 PM they won't allow inside the falls.

Entry ticket per person is 30rs.

1 km trekking should be done to reach the falls

Shuttle service is available from entrance to falls with 10rs for one way. It is operated by forest department.

Restrooms are available for both male and female separately.

Drinking water is also available on the way to falls.

This falls is located in the downhill of Kodaikanal

Entry fees is 30 rs per head. Parking facilities is there. Car parking is 100 rs. Very wonderful falls. Must visit places. Near periyakulam and kodaikanal.

A must visit place for Maduraikaran to have fun at waterfalls... Its a small falls but definitely worth to go with friends or family.. it has small pool kind of place which is favourite for kids to play also a falls with sufficient force.. thoug the place may looks like dirty water quality is not that bad.. always flows not stagnet water.. there is a electric car to carry people to bypass that 400m walk from parking.. better carry your foods since and it will not be allowed inside the check post so plan to have at the parking itself.

The best thing about Kumbakkarai falls is, it's water flow is year round according to the forest department official who was operating a battery operated vehicle from parking space to the falls entrance (roughly a kilometre apart), it's best for the elderly, those having difficulty walking and the physically challenged. To the falls is kind of an uphill journey not too steep but a gradual slope, then you need to climb down say 10 big steps and voilà the beautiful falls. It's clean, safe, cool and a worthy visit. You will love it.
There's an entry fee per head and there's additional charges for the battery operated vehicle (optional). The fare is subject to change and could be viewed in the district (theni) administration portal maintained by Tamil Nadu government.

Great place to relax and get boost by tremendous nature view 😍 from the top, must confirm that weather there is good flow of water or not, before the your visit the falls. Had really a good time there

A very pleasant place and a must visit falls. Today I went and enjoyed a lot. Water is surplus and it's fully controlled by forest department. Toilets and dress changing rooms(only for ladies) are available. From entrance around 300 to 350 metres people have to walk. Battery car also available. Open rest place also there. Foods are not allowed due to the presence of monkeys. It's really a neat place. Parking fees and entrance fees are there.

Wonderful water fall and tiny river which flows from western ghats. Nature at its best.

Newly opened car park is pathetic to park cars which is full of rocks and holes.

We enjoyed bathing and playing in this water falls. Due to its less crowd the people bath here enjoy their time with their family. The place is clean comparing to my previous visits. The forest guards ensure the safety of the tourists.

Kumbakkari falls which is a beautiful waterfall located in the foothills of the Kodaikanal hills in the state of Tamil Nadu, Kumbakkarai village.

There is a forest check point and Office at the entrance, We have to get entry ticket in office to cross the check point. Also forest department offers battery powered electric shuttle bus from check point to falls and this is optional, If needed have to pay some extra amount along with entry ticket. Enjoy the beautiful view of the waterfall from the top and took a dip in the pool formed at the bottom of the falls.

Overall this is a good picnic place to get relaxed and unwind in the lap of nature.

Best place to visit with family especially children. Please prefer to go on weekdays as it is crowded on weekends

Nice falls around Dindigul area. Family people can enjoy around the small pond area ... Falls also easy to reach ,but walk safely to reach as water flow is high.

Best place to enjoy nature. Good for family. One can thoroughly enjoy the place. Dressing rooms are available. Make use of battery cars if you are traveling with elderly people. For return also you can get in the battery car and pay at the entrance.
