Few months ago, after conducting a thorough internet search and by reading the review reports of previous beneficiaries, I learned about "Dr. Pai's Precision Dental clinic and Implant Centre" via the "Practo" website.

I am from Kerala and I was suffering from dental deterioration and missing teeth. The condition grew worse, and I went without seeing a dentist all these years.

First time I visited Dr. Pai’s clinic at Bejai Kapikad, I wasn’t too hopeful. My plan was to complete the repair in a few weeks and replace it temporarily with flaps or a denture. However, the scan result revealed that even my gum health was seriously impaired, and the only viable treatment option is implants. Although nearly every one of my teeth was in poor condition, Dr. Umesh offered every advice on how to keep as many of my natural teeth as possible.

At first, I was really hesitant to open my mouth. Thanks to Dr. Subhashree, who helped me wade-away my embarrassment. And in a follow-up, Dr. Umesh, explained the issues well, and conveyed to me all the potential remedies from a practical point of view. To restore the recessive bone line, he also mentioned the bone graft technique. Thereby, I became more assured.

Without knowing what would happen, there was a trauma in the beginning of the treatment. For that, Dr. Umesh provided explanation by saying that “Patients should be patient during the treatment and should allow enough recovery time for the implants to settle” As he said, along the course, the outcome was favourable.

Dr. Umesh is an exceptionally skilled and meticulous prosthodontist. His professionalism is quite impressive. He is an academician as well, so he can explain the scientific rationale for each treatment plan.

And now that my implant treatments have been successfully finished. The outcome is really remarkable, particularly in terms of the implant's function, working throughout mealtimes. I could taste and chew all the cuisine of my dreams, and I feel like I'm living a healthy lifestyle these days. I no longer feel self-conscious when dining in a group, or when I choose my own snacks or meals, or have to squint my lips while speaking.

Many thanks for the excellent dental care provided by Dr. Umesh Pai and his team. Their unwavering skills should aid a lot of people, in my opinion.

I live in Seattle, United States where the detail appointment wait times are 3 months. Meanwhile I had tooth pain near gums radiating to my ears. I had to travel to India on a personal visit and my parents suggested Dr Umesh Pai. I was pleasantly surprised that the doctor was super friendly and explained everything clearly. The receptionist was humble and she made sure we got appointments on time. The tooth extraction was smooth , didn't feel a thing , post surgery i took pain killers which helped managed pain on day 1, from day 2 the pain subsided. I was really happy i was able to get this done quick. I have fear of the drill sound at the dentist , Dr Pai put me at ease explaining how much time the horrific sound would be , additionally , it was quick with no pain at all . I got all my 4 dental fillings done. Super happy with my dentist, the first dental experience which did not strike fear and instead put me at ease. Thank you doctor and everyone at the office for making it such a seamless and happy experience which otherwise is always harrowing.

Dr. Umesh is one of the finest dentists that I have come across.
Very professional, approachable and extremely good at his work.
He comes with a great deal of experience and pays attention to detail.
He did my filling and a dental cap replacement and in both the cases Dr. Umesh went an extra mile to ensure I was happy with the outcome.

I have visited Dr Umesh Pai's clinic multiple times..for regular checks ups to root canal, for someone who is scared of dental treatments, Dr Umesh Pai and his asst Dr. Ann, put me at ease. My experience has been great and they are now my go to dentists!

About 15 plus years ago a dentist in Mangalore did my Dental Crown, it lasted till now, I was searching for a Dentist, in fact I visited some other Dentist along with my spouse and son, but it looked they are lacking professionalism and compromising on hygene also they couldn't provide personalised service as they run between two dental chair where they made patient sit with half work done, of course their charges were economical (or not at higher side !) I saw few reviews about Dr.Pai's Dental Clinic and took appointment over the phone, they allowed me in -time and removed the old crown took impressions, again re-fixed the old one; till the new one getting ready. During the time Dr. Pai didn't attend any other patient ( or may be they go by appointment time, as earlier there were some questions rised by a patient which I saw in the review, good that they are accepting the suggestions and willing to change) and dedicated his whole time with my dental work. Some how on third day I received a call saying they need to take the impression again as the first one didn't come righ and they removed the re-fixed old crown again and took impression a fresh and next appointment given within 4 days, again at that time Dr.Pai dedicated his whole time on my Dental job, as I opted for All Porcelain Crown and the charges told initially for 2+1 were Rs.30K but finally he took only Rs.27K as I was asked to go in between for 2nd impression !. Also said follow-up calls/service required any will be done fif any need arises. I really liked his service and again visited him to remove the old filling and reconstruct it along with some minor work with side by tooth. He dedicated whole one and half hour on that precision job and completed with perfection and charged Rs.5K. He including his staff were very professionals, they dedicate their entire time with the patient, I found that the Doctor was never disturbed during the procedure not even attend any call. All the best Doctor Pai, wish all fraternity of yours follow your kind of profesionalism.

This is one of the best clinics i have ever visited. Dr Umesh is not only an expert prosthodontist and Implantolohist, but also an artist in the field of dentistry. I was fortunate enough to get the treatments done at his Precision Dental setup at Mangaluru.

I would always be skeptical about dental treatment. However, Dr. Umesh has completely changed that perception. He is a skilled professional, paid attention to details and executed the treatment in minimal number of appointments and most importantly without any pain. Overall a very good experience..!!
