Rann Resort Dholavira

A not to be missed experience. Located at a prime location next to Rann at the end of Road to Heaven the Resort staff is humble and very dedicated. The food is authentic Gujarati and the efforts are commendable as it is made so well inspite of lack of infrastructure at Dholavira. The Rooms are as best as they can be at the given cost as Dholavira is quite isolated. Saw a few luxurious rooms coming up and hopefully these would be better. The trip to Rann arranged by the Resort is good enough to make the stay worthwhile. Very strongly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this resort. The rooms are spacious and villa is n heart of city in the mid of scenic backdrop. The staff is friendly, courteous and villa has all facilities. Thank you for your service. All those who plan to visit Dholavira, please consider staying in this resort.

The resort is placed amidst peace and tranquility of the white desert. The staff and everyone at the resort is helpful. Beautiful experience twice. Both cottages and suite rooms are good value for money. 👏🏼😊

With humungous White Rann right infront and the pleasant smiles of the service staff, this will remain one of the best stays for me.

One of the best resort in dhovavira. Clean air, white Rann start just behind the resort, good kutchi kathiywadi food,best rooms and at night local artists program. Best view for sunset and sunrise. Good parking area and best quality services. Surely recommend this place.

Location is nice, it's exactly near the start of white desert. Food is good. Cleanliness is well maintained. The road to heaven starts from this hotel. There is no nearby hotel better than this. We went there after reading the reviews, and I totally agree to it. Worth going.

Recently developed stay option at Key junction location of Dholavira..from where Salt Creek and " Road to heaven" actually starts.. Other hotel or home stay options are spread at different locations in 5 to 10 km towards other side of village..

This perticular property having USP of stretegic location, Good views, courteous staff. As of date, they had 24 rooms built in Local Kutchi architecture style. Clean and comfortable. Food options are mostly local variety with manageable taste. Advance booking and weather check is recommended. Good time to visit is from September to February.

Beautiful place to stay with family. Server delicious authentic food with great hospitality. Enjoyed cultural program. White runn is at walking distance where we captured beautiful pic of sunrise & sunset.

If you are thinking about visiting White Rann of Kutch, then 'Rann Resort Dholavira' must definitely find a place in your Itineray. What a fantastic location, this resort is at, just behind the White Rann at a walkable distance giving serenity to the entire experience! The rooms are clean and hygienic. We had a dinner at this property under the open sky and the same was mind blowing, better than any 5 star hotel. The staff was super humble and helpful. They would consider each request you make very seriously with a smile. Ten out of ten in every aspect. Each Rupee one would spend on this property is worth it. Highly recommended for family visitors!!

An amazing place to stay during your trip to Rann. Clean and decently sized rooms constructed like Kachchi Bhungas. The rooms were spic and span and cleaned on daily basis.
There is a separate dining hall/restaurant which prepares delicious meals on a fixed menu basis. Breakfast and dinner was part of the package while lunch was charged INR250pp separately.
The staff feeds you with love and if you stay here for 3 nights, you will end up gaining some weight because of tasty food and genuine love with which it is served. I must admit though that after 2 nights, some items be be found repeated. Food is moderately spiced and suitable for all age groups. We were a group of 10 with had folks ranging from 80 yrs to 10 yrs and everyone enjoyed the place a lot.
The location of the place is its USP, located right on the banks of Rann, you don't have to travel anywhere of you are there to enjoy wast endless terrains of greater rann. They also organize star gazing walk in the nigh which should be a must in your plan. You will be taken a km inside rann in pitch of the night and an experience which you will cherish for rest of your life.
We made this place our base amd visited white rann at Dhordo, Kalo Dungar from here while crossing the famed Road to Heaven each way. We would've missed that opportunity if we stayed in the tent city, which to me is highly overrated. The Harappan city was also few kms away and the sunset point and fossil Park another few kms ahead. Both are must visit places.
If you have own vehicle at your disposal, do stay here instead of wasting money on tent city 60 kms away. You can easily cover that and even enjoy a sunset there and come back to Dholavira easily like we did.

Special mention of owner Pravin bhai and his team members tinabhai and premjibhai who were really courteous and helpful during our stay.

There were a couple of hiccups as well though, all minor. The geyzer was quite small in capacity and took 15 mins to heat half a bucket of water which delays your bath. But it also allows you to have more idle/wait time giving you more opportunity to enjoy the place and environment :).

My 80 yrs old arthritis patient found it difficult to climb up/down few stairs from the room, which wasn't a big deal as we jad someone or the other to support him. But it can be a hurdle if elderly are visiting alone. Something which management can look into and fix by putting up hand rails between room stairs.

All in all, I will definitely visit Rann again and will stay at the same place, highly recommend. The place is not very crowded and well preserved, but it is a matter of time before hoard of tourists start visiting it, so act fast!

Amazing property to stay in Dholavira. Adjacent to 'Road to Heaven' makes it a perfect place for the best Sunrise and Sunset pics. Tasty and healthy local Gujrati/Kutchh food. Great Hospitality from staff related to room service. Online/UPI payment is also a convenient feature.

The rooms are basic, though neat and clean. The food tests toothsome and homely. The best part is the view behind the resort.

The only and the best resort or stay option you can have in Dholavira. I had gone with family and kids for Rann of Kutch tour on 29th Nov 23 and had excellent experience of staying at Rann Resort Dholavira. The resort management is excellent and very very cooperative. They have provided us with everything what has been asked for. Even at dinner we asked them to cook some different vegetables for us and without any hesitation or any extra cost they just did it. The rooms are comfortable and very clean and nit. In such remote area which is surrounded by rann both side, this the only best stay option I would recommend at Dholavira. I had chose their Deluxe Room which bigger than Bhunga category. It was super spacious, toilets were clean and especially had all the necessary amenities. Such beautiful scenery we enjoyed in the morning because exactly behind our room there was Rann, just the open Rann. Had fantastic sunrise experience and Road to Heaven just start from here hence there was sheer beauty.
The resort is also expanding and adding more deluxe rooms. Food was also decent. Limited but tasty options. Overall I would genuinely rate a 5 star for all the experience and wonderful stay. Highly recommended for family's visiting Dholavira to stay at Rann Resort Dholavira.

The staff here are warm and hospitable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The entire resort is a picturesque haven, situated against the stunning backdrop of the white Rann. Dholavira's exclusive access to the White Rann sets this resort apart; nowhere else in Dholavira can you experience its beauty. Conveniently located on the highway and in proximity to the road to heaven, the place offers serenity with the sweet melody of birds chirping. In fact, some birds have made their homes in the resort's trees, including the vibrant kingfisher. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure our happiness, exemplifying helpfulness. Additionally, they arranged for a delightful live folk musical performance show for us at night.

One word to say.. for this resort is .just FABULOUS...unmatched hospitality . Unmatched location. 100%VALUE FOR MONEY. Rajwadi cottage and Bhuga both were very comfortable and with all modern amenities required . Food is awesome 👍

An excellent place to stay if you are planning to stay overnight at Dholavira. Right on the edge of the Runn, you can walk to the moon lit Runn. Even the resort folks are ready to accompany us for our safety. Decent food and clean cottages.

Peaceful and Seren. The rooms are basic, but neat and clean. The food is sumptuous yet homely. Staff is friendly yet professional. Great place to stay alive and yet experience HEAVEN .

The location is perfect right by the road to head and the backdoor opening to the great white desert.
