Sterling Palavelli Godavari

Stated at pond view resort for 3 days. The location is a bit hard to reach . Personal vehicle is adviced. It's a wonderful place with nice food, very helpful and courteous staff. I visited with my 2 yr old and the chef knew exactly the baby food. Our kid never went hungry, had lots of space to run around, enjoy. The mornings were beautiful and next level. The boating trip was great too although the distance could be a bit more. Sincerely thank sterling staff for being helpful during our stay. Will visit again!!

Excellent service, very neat and well maintained rooms, perfect location to be very close to Nature. Food is awsome. Chief Mehaboob made authentic Fish, Prawns and awsome Tomatoe Papu..just finger licking. THANK YOU chief . Aftab sir awsome place Thanks for amazing expirence.

The property is very good, Staff very courteous, the rooms are decent and the view down the valley was fabulous.

The variety of food and it’s taste were simply amazing. If you are a foodie and prefer having good food along-with a pleasant stay, this is the place for you. I would like to call out a few names like Mr. Rinku,Mr. Basker and Ms . Vaishali , who served us with extreme warmth. Mr. Parvith who is the F&B manager of the property was also very courteous.

All good. While booking process Mrs Dimple was very cooperative. During our stay Mr Xavier, Rambabu, Rinku and sai have taken care of us very well in all aspects. It was a nice stay. Food was delicious.

The property is behind the godavari river bank . The staff and the property is good. I would like to thank Mr aftab specially for making our stay comfortable and memorable one.

Absolutely loved the place. Winter is the best
time to visit.. Kids enjoyed a lot. This place is rejuvenating, calm amd serene. Staff is very hospitable.

Room no :1402 ..The staff is very friendly and cooperative (Sagar and Vijay Bhaskar) and atmosphere is very peaceful and a good place to go for a holiday trip ..

Only food was not as expected.... Very few choices..... Many items from menu unavailable...

This holiday experience was the best I had so far. From Rajamundry it's around 70kms. Around 3kms to the resort the road is very narrow but scenic with coconut trees on either side. Please drive real slow on these roads and avoid overtaking. The resort is really beautiful with greenery everywhere. Food is tasty also it's not too spicy. Pool timings are 7am to 7pm. Breakfast is also very tasty especially the Dosas. They have rooms overlooking the Lotus Pond and it's a treat to the eye in the Morning. They have wheelchair facility and the staff were kind enough to offer to wheel my unwell mother. The resort offers boating experience at 300 bucks per head. On the whole I had a beautiful 3N/4D stay. Thank you for the clean and hygienic stay😇

Nice resort for a holiday with family. Well maintained and trained staff. Rooms provided are rather very big and are clean, booked four rooms for three days with comfortable stay. Read reviews about bad food, but I would say food is tasty. Might improve the speed of serving, but being in a leisure mood its manageable.

We stayed in a pond side room, it was marvelous. Pond is with lotuses and no mosquitoes, we can sit and talk even after its dark. I think the pond side room is best among all other types of rooms in Sterling.

Food quality and quantity is good but they are pricey. We 2 people stayed for 3 days and the food bill was 4k. That includes 18% GST and 5-10% service charge.

Location wise Sterling is quite remote, 10-12 km from Palakollu.

I have learnt that the resort fills up completely on weekends. The best time is weekdays and with no public holidays.

We can take a speed boat trip in Godavari river, sunrise and sunsets times are best.

Total Village nativity. Pleasant farm stay. Rooms are neat and large. Beware of nature friendly harmless small frogs :). Food quality is good but long wait time, Better to pre book and spend time around before food arrives.

Awesome resort. Great food - taste & variety; clean and well maintained rooms. Courteous staff. Sufficient parking. Great boat ride (though at add-on fee)
Wish the approach roads were better - road from Sidhantam was pathetic for first few km. Rest of the route was scenic.

Lovely location amidst coconut groves, 0.5 KM from banks of the Godavari. Clean rooms, good sattvic food, polite and efficient service. Access to site is very confusing especially using Google Nav. Better to navigate to Palavelli and then ask for directions from locals. Breakfast Buffet is very good. We stayed in rooms with views of the lotus pond. The sit out was really nice with no mosquitoes, although there were generic bugs attracted to the lights.

The whole resort gives you a mystic feeling where you will find yourself in a soothing environment and zamindari style rooms. Overall, it was a brilliant experience. Only thing that needs to be taken care of is that the staff and management can upgrade the amenities in the bathroom
