Rhino Heritage Museum

Place was good. Very well organized. Many articrafts and related stories which depicts the rich history of Indian armed forces are present. One good thing is that entry is free.

We didn't visit the place but had a panoramic views of the place from outside. And found to be clean and beautiful and we'll maintained like most of the other places of the North East India.

The place is a Museum, maintained and operated by the Indian army. Location is very good and the place is famous with tourists.

Good place for kids if you are intersted in introducing them to the stories filled with bravery and acts of valour of the soldiers of the Indian Army. Not many places like this in Shillong.

It's a fun destination for students to visit. It a really small museum located at the Rilbong Point maintained by Army Personals of HQ101 Area, showcasing some artifacts of defence history in Meghalaya. Major Attraction would be the famous Rhino Structure situated right in front of it which serves as a great social media picture spot.

Present in Shillong city only. Small museum Full of valour of our Army with many historical details. Dont skip it u will really feel proud after visiting this museum.

Rhino heritage museum narrates the history of Army and Assam Rifles in the north east. The building itself is a heritage building which has a story of itself. The Vijayanta tank placed in the museum is the star attraction of the site. Located in the tri junction of Shillong -Guwahati…Shillong - Cherapunjee and Shillong Jowai Roads one cannot miss it. Ample parking space is available. Entry is free

Love the tank outside the museum. It's damn awesome. Good to see Army maintaining it so well.

Situated exactly at Rilbong Point this museum shares information about Military and Culture with relics, there is even a War Tank parked just outside the museum.

Has details about the assam rifles and other army units. Most of the information is in form of text panels.
