With all the negative reviews about the resort, I was skeptical about visiting. But it turned out to be a great stay.
The property is big, rooms are old but fair. What makes stay great is the welcoming and helpful staff.

Located just outside the city limits of Mahabaleshwar in a very scenic location surrounded by greenery. Very beautiful resort with lots of recreation place and facilities nice little pool.
The food was just very good and tasty. I enjoyed every moment of my stay here.

Currently rooms are under renovation. Some rooms are done and some rooms are still old. But property is serene and peaceful. But yes lot of activities were closed they mentioned post monsoon they haven't started. E cycle. Archery, trampolin etc. You will get a bit oldish feel till they don't renovate.

We had a good time in club mahindra during our recet stay. Rooms were quite spacious and food was also good.

Sherwood is one of the best properties of club Mahindra. They have a great number of activities. Its located in a beautiful spot best suited for sunset and star gazing. Though star gazing as an activity is available only in some seasons, you can just spot stars on your own. The one activity that is not to be missed is the small trek organised by happyhub.
The food comes at a reasonable cost and is good. The staff are friendly and premises qell maintained.
The only issue is with slow hot water. It takes time for heating up.
They also have a good shopping point Jauhar. Here you get everything from dresses, sarees,handbags and bedsheets.

Compared to other property much nearer to Mahabaleshwar market.
Lots of greenery on property. Bonus...they have an inhouse sunset point.
Rooms are quite adequate comfort wise, most having been restored. Infact restoration work is being done all over the property, though currently stopped, due to vacation/festival period.
The restaurant's food is great, Service is excellent and the ambience can't complain. Weekend they have dj/singer night who really brought excitement to the crowd, making everyone to their feet and dance the night away.
Registration and check out were easy.

The food at the restaurant ensures a satisfactory meal for everyone. The Chef is very courteous and asked us to take the opportunity to request any dish of choice if we were not satisfied with the extensive buffet.

It's pretty old resort but well maintained. The pool over there is always closed. Atleast it was close for 2 days while we had a stay over there. But rest everything is cool.

One of the Best resorts that Club Mahindra offers. Serene place, lush green, covered with dense forest, Lingmala waterfall, organic Straberry plantation is nearby.

Kind and courteous staff.
Great place for both meditators and people who wants to enjoy activities Spacious place amidst nature.
Quietude can be experienced if you choose to stay in silence...enjoyed..

Only issue is Airtel network doesn't work.. for any communication with outside World bit challenging here.

The restaurant service was extra ordinary. Food was very delicious and service was beyond expectations I enjoyed every bit of my dinner at sherwood club Mahindra resort restuarent. So much options for vegetarian food that I enjoyed

Vintage property with renovation work in progress, as of March 2023. Needs a paint job as well.
The last 600m of road till the entry of the resort is very bumpy and needs to be fixed by the concerned authorities.

Wonderful resort with wonderful staff. It was mostly raining but the resort was kept well enough to navigate smoothly. The check in was nice and effortless. We were served Strawberry Tea as welcome drink prepared by Amol and Sunil and we loved it. The room had a few problems but it was sorted as we highlighted them. Resturant was busy and had waiting time but the staff there were extra helpful. Mentioning some of the wonderful staff members there - Dattatray, Vishal, Akshay, Mukesh, Nitesh.
Overall it was pretty nice. And definitely recommended.

Two rooms with booked by my cousin and we had gone there to spend our free days as vacation. Right from the entry into this premises, we were given the VIP treatment.
Service was very prompt and very helpful. We had opted for "dinner + breakfast package" for all the members and we were never sorry for the decision taken.
The rooms were very clean and beds were made for us with ample amount of blankets and pillows.
It's a very good place to laze around and unwind from your hectic schedule.

Classy vintage property located at very centre of all tourist spots and main market. Surrounded by dense trees, very well maintained and respective staff. Even if you dont prefer going out, property is serene and good and big enough to chill all the time.
