I stayed here for 2 nights, such a lovely place, a very nice family, homemade food by Aunty ji is very yummy and healthy loved it. Rooms washrooms are neat and clean. Everything is so good, also one can go for walk nearby with lovely view of Deodhar trees. Highly recommend Kalptaru Homestay 😊😊👍👍

I was looking for a peaceful and clean place to spend about a week in mountains for work from hills and not work from home, the hosts at this place absolutely spoiled that idea as they made it feel like a happy home. :)
They are lovely family which welcome you whole heartedly.
The room where i stayed had a cool balcony, there is small stream flowing downhill right next to the property, the music of water is there 24/7, just need to open the balcony door to tune in.
My only complaint was that i had to ask to turn on the water pump multiple times as water tank was draining quickly due to some plumbing issue but the hosts obliged quickly to the requests.
Special thanks to Nivedita for offering the unique and delicious Malta tea, also for making the stay very comfortable. Perfect homestay experience!

We arrived here by bike from Bhimtal and was made most welcome by the family, they grow their own food and prepare delicious meals. They were very informative on local information which made this an excellent stay for our backpacking journey. Rooms clean & comfortable with hot water. Would highly recommend.

Home from home stay, we were made to feel very comfortable and welcome, uncle Ji gave alot of advise and showed us to some local places. The home grown & prepared food has been the finest we've had yet (we've stayed in quite a few now). A great view from the balcony, cosy & comfortable beds and the best cups of Malta tea!!

Excellent guest house. they serve hygienic food whatever they cook for themselves. Service and hospitality are not artificial or in business way as in star hotels, so guest will feel being in their home. Since it is located in hills so obliviously fresh and cool air is all around in front of guest house green forest to see and a fresh water canal is flowing very near. You can get there and lay down on cool water. This guest house is perfect for European visitors who wish to see indian food (may be not all type of indian food) and hospitality.

Great serenity all over... coupled with out of the way assistance of the Owner Mr. Paatni makes it nice place to stay. And yes...they serve you traditional food of Uttarakhand, which adds to the charm. Highly recommended to families.

I Stayed for more than a week at this beautiful Place with the wonderful Brahman-Family, which is running it.
Jagdish Ji, his Wifeand his Son are just beautiful Souls, full of good Energy.
Here you can stay, find peace in your mind, eat very nice with much love home cooked food with organic vegetables from the own garden, go trekking around and learn as well much from the hole family. You can learn everything about Hinduism, Brahmans and worshiping what you want.
Jagdish Ji and his wife are most good to gods conected souls, which are worshiping twice everyday, they touched my heart very deeply.
So the Place is beautiful, the rooms nice and clean and the company better than you can wish... :) You dont have to think about it, just to go...

During Visit to Lahaghat from Tanakpur Stayed for Two nights three Days(17/06/2022 to 19/06/2022) at Kalptaru Home Stay with 06 families from Delhi ,it is perfect Place to stay with Family and Friends. Superb Location and excellent weather. Devdar Trees behind the Home Stay makes this guest House A-Grade Home Stay . Behaviour of Aunti who takes care of Guests is very Polite ,Food is good and Homely made.Rooms are clean and ventilated. At last I Can Say Every Thing was positive and must stay.

Excellent place to stay at Lohaghat. Very reliable. Jagdish ji is very nice & humble person & well known over there. Bhaiya and bhabhi ji both are good. They cooked food for us. We use to talk with different travel related subject with them. Food is homely & with garden fresh vegetables. All foods are veg. Non veg are not allowed over there. The natural beauty from from of pine forest is awesome. Worth staying over there.

I was backpacking and stayed here alone on 28 Dec 2019.. Read about it on the Internet.. Took a shared cab from Pithoragarh and got down in front of this guest house..The owner Mr. JAGDISH Chandra Patni and his wife run this quaint place.. it has about 4 to 5 rooms.. I reached unannounced yet got a room.. the room was facing the hill, had adequate sunlight, clean bedsheets and clean bathrooms.. Town is about 2 km away, I walked back from town once by road and it was a breeze..
Mr. PATNI and his wife are a very cordial couple..they gave tea when requested.. evening dinner was authentic Kumaoni food which he and me are while his wife cooked fresh rotis.. Very warm couple..I definitely recommend a stay with him.. As a bonus he drove me up a nearby hill to show his family land from where we get a beautiful view of the city..he showed m a lovely hike up to a mata temple which I did next day morning..up and down in 1 1/2 hours..

Absolutely outstanding and perfectly located. Helpful, friendly owners who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. Splendid breakfast, specially aloo paratha. Do not hesitate to ask green dhaniya chutney with parathas.

The place which will give you feel & comfort like your home. Based on your request they will provide you yummy homemade paratha, tea and snacks (I tried this much only).
