The food was amazing, I never imagined that I would like coconut based soup but I fell in love with it.

More than the food, the restaurant tour was the highlight of the night for all of us.
If you visit the spice route don't forget to ask for the tour.

They have ancient relics and wall paintings throughout which are placed in a way to string up a really nice story which relates to the Hindu epics both Ramayana and Mahabharata.

A wonderful dining experience, the restaurant is located inside the Imperial hotel, delicious Thai food and stunning antique and authentic decorations representing the journey of life. You get the dining area passing trough 16th century pillars which represent the beginning of our journey, the space between the pillars is for one person to remind us that we come alone in this world .. there is family area, love, fortune.. and end of our days where our ancestors are looking and waiting for us.
The food was spectacular! Highly recommend for business, romantic and special events.

Amazing experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had visited them for my wife's birthday and had made a few requests which were followed wonderfully well.
Special thanks to the maitre d' for her attention to detail and being an excellent host.
The food was also delectable. Must visit.

The service here was very good, you are always attended by at least two staffs. The decor however was over the top, too much to handle. I felt like everything has been put up into this one place, however, this is my personal opinion. There are people who would love this. I found the restaurant expensive.
I ordered Tiger prawns cooked on pepper and Cilantro. The food i must say is Delicious, the prawns were cooked right. Staying in Thailand for 5 years i know how different Thai foods can taste outside Thailand. But this was just right, so 100 points for that.

Was very impressed by the service and ambience! The decor is stunning. The food was excellent, though the quantities seemed rather small.

We are a couple from USA, aged 28 & 36. I booked a table here for our first night in India and requested a romantic table. We walked to the Imperial Hotel from our hotel in Connaught Place and were immediately impressed with the beautiful landscaping and impeccable hospitality of the well dressed guards and hotel staff. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, complete with an excellent ambiance, food and story behind every little detail! Ask for a tour of the different spaces in the restaurant and prepared to be wowed. The cuisine is more pan-asian than Indian so we opted for some dishes that we’ve never had before like the Kerala Prawns along with some old favorites like an excellent Thai Papaya Salad. The service is impeccable yet friendly with a full staff willing to go out of their way to make your night special. As it was our first night in India, the 2x 9% taxes on food and the 20% additional tax on alcohol was a bit of a shock but just part of dining out in Delhi. We highly recommend stopping after dinner for a nightcap at the bar, 1911, which also has cool history and decor. These are both in the first floor of a beautiful restored historic hotel. An incredibly romantic and memorable introduction to India for the both of us.

The experience here was truly amazing... starting from the antique decor of this restaurant to the food which includes Thai, Malaysian and Kerala. Price is on a higher side but it is truly worth the experience.
I loved the ambiance of the restaurant so much that I recommend this restaurant to every other person

Great place for lunch and a time out from exploring the city. The staff were most welcoming and attentive. You can walk off your Bellini and delicious lentil dumplings, by wandering through the beautiful Imperial Hotel, while the throng outside awaits.

I chose The Imperial for my valentine's dinner this year and it didn't fail to impress with it's four course meal. The ambience was mind blowing. The food and drinks were foodgasmic and the staff extremely courteous. A five star experience indeed.

It's proclaimed to be one of the top ten restaurants of the world by Conde Nast Traveller.
I have been to Spice route a couple of times and this restaurant never seems to disappoint. It has a pleasing ambience for a romantic date ( which is designed on the principles of Feng Shui).

I visited here lately on Karva Chauth and my husband had organised a special dinner by the waterside/ courtyard( See pics).

Great food with excellent service in an iconic hotel in Delhi. Highly recommend as a place to eat in Delhi. If you get a chance stop in the 1911 bar and see the victoria cross in the shadow box on the wall in the medal room.

Exquisite food from India, Thailand and some of Vietnam. It is quite pricy though!

Gorgeous restaurant, with interesting architecture and murals. The papaya salad and mutton curry were really delicious. Our waiter, Rohan, was particularly good, helping u make excellent menu choices and explaining the history of the restaurant.
