Club Mahindra Resort - Emerald Palms, Goa

Stayed here whilst on a family vacation. First of all, the resort is lovely. Portuguese-influenced architecture is seen. Given the label of "club Mahindra," the resort is kept in good condition. They feature a variety of amenities, including a pool, a gym,a massage parlor, a cafe, etc. Obviously, the cost of each varies depending on the package you purchased. The property isn't exactly in a desirable spot. We didn't get a really good view. However, you do have access to the Varca beach given its close proximity. The accommodations are great. The service was good.

Not very big fan of their restaurant… one would get better places to explore food outside the resort… if one doesn’t have a access to cab or pvt vehicle reaching here or staying would b difficult as it’s far away from city… overall our family had good time at the resort

The resort is little old style and comparitively small compared to other club Mahindra properties. Happy hub had very less activities. Food was good.

Good location in south goa. A short walk from the beach. Food packages are expensive. Clean adequately appointed rooms. Activity zone in house keeps kids entertained. The staff is polite & attentive to detail.

Club Mahindra... Name only is sufficient for the quality.
The property Emerald is located almost 15min drive from Madgaon or 10 min from Colva junction.
The premise is of almost 30 acre housing a big reception cum lounge, 3 restaurant, swimming pool and villa type accomodation, spa, gym and indoor kid club house.

Food served in the restaurant is Buffet system and good variety, both diet friendly as well as exotic dishes.

The property gives quite and calm experience and very suitable for people who prefer calm atmosphere.

Nice service though a bit slow. People are very friendly and their commitment to customers is excellent. We always love to use Club Mahindra for our holidays over the last 23 years

Very spacious and well maintained resort... Rooms are great... Staff is courteous... The Varca beach is a walking distance away from the resort(1Km)

Feels Like a Portuguese Dream!

Nestled in the peaceful alleys of Varca, Emerald Palms teleports you to Portuguese architecture at first glance. You are welcomed to a grand lobby by a seasoned local musician wearing a shirt as vivid as his smile playing ol’ Goan medlies on his guitar. The reception desk gives you a rush of local culture with a traditional Kokam sherbet. My check-in was processed by Pooja who even offered a choice of ground floor BR on knowing my mother was accompaning me.

The lobby connects to the Happy Hub gaming zone, Goan specialty La Terrazza restaurant, barbeque-themed Barbeque Bay, and full-service Sol Bar. La Terrazza offers buffet and a la carte Goan dishes and my personal picks were the Vegetable Xacutti with Goan rice, and the LIVE dosa counter.

The lobby takes you to a decently-sized swimming pool, archer’s shooting zone, temporary tattoo counter, hippie-themed stall of colourful necklaces, and a souvenir shop that houses swimming pool, archer’s shooting zone, temporary tattoo counter, hippie-themed stall of colourful necklaces, and a souvenir shop that houses swimming wear, lamps, dresses, and more.

On walking past further, you are surrounded by pinkish buildings on all sides with a European-styled white stoned mermaid fountain at the centre. My room was a BR which was clean and comforting. The bedroom in particular opened doors to panaromic views of lush green meadows.

The bedroom as well as the living room are equipped with individual temperature control screens. Equipped with TV and clean bathrooms, the stay couldn't get any better. The tea/coffee maker panted heavy sighs on being plugged and had to be replaced twice by the ever-helpful housekeeping staff.

The in-room dining was decently budgeted and had limited but few culinary options. I had ordered a plate of Idli & Vada (total eight pieces) and was priced at 485 INR after membership discount. A better idea would be to go to their in-house La Terrazza restaurant and choose one of the dishes from their wide-ranged menu for in-room dining.

The staff also arranges a buggy to traverse from the lobby to your room. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and has the bandwidth to send emails and do Zoom calls. As I was visiting in November, rain huffed and puffed at odd times and complemented the setting beautifully.

There are only two restaurants outside Emerald Palms- Olive Garden and Meet You There. The bill will be 500 INR lesser than the in-house restaurants. There are no shops or tourist attractions near the hotel and the best option to explore South Goa from Emerald Palms is via a vehicle. Remember, nothing is walkable from the resort. I had taken a bike rental from Pais Rental Bike & Taxi which is right outside the resort’s gates.

Overall, my three night and four day stay at Emerald Palms was pleasant and memorable.

Special mention to the housekeeping team namely Rahul B, Rakesh, and Francisco who cleaned with remarkable skill, swiftness, and came in daily at 09.30 AM.

Excellent stay. However it is a smaller property compared to varca beach resort.

Location infrastructure food service cleanliness every thing very good. Had nice n pleasant stay.

One of the good Club Mahindra resorts. Well maintained and cozy resorts! Staff is excellent and very welcoming! Rooms are spacious, good linen and bedding! Toilets are clean and basic toiletries are available. Nice swimming pool and pool side bar! It’s not a beach resort but beach is hardly 10 minutes walk. Beach is extraordinary, loved beer in the nearby shack!!!

We stayed here from 10-13.Aug 2023, as a group of 35 people.

The stay was amazing. The resort team supported us relentlessly making it all super smooth.

Pleasantly surprised by the place. Rooms are spacious and clean and very comfortable. Staff are outstanding. Service and food is excellent. Daniel the musician is a treat to sing along with. The beach is a 15 min pleasant walk thru the village so it's Lovely and almost private. There were no crowds and a nice shack with good food ! On the whole zero issues. Must stay !!
