Venturing into this Dhaba-style restaurant, I was met with a bustling crowd, indicating its popularity. Despite the packed atmosphere, my dining experience was nothing short of delightful.

The food truly stood out, reflecting the authentic flavors of traditional Dhaba cuisine. With reasonable prices, the generous portions offered great value for money. Each dish boasted an impressive quantity, ensuring a satisfying meal.

We indulged in a feast of flavors, including the delectable baby garlic butter naan, flavorful soya chaap gravy, and succulent paneer tikka. While the soya chaap was slightly firmer than expected, the paneer was incredibly tender, melting in the mouth with every bite.

It's worth noting that the abundant portions may require careful consideration when placing orders to avoid overordering. Nevertheless, the overall experience was thoroughly enjoyable, making this restaurant a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Dhaba cuisine.

Great great great food!!! 👌🏻 Definitely a must try for authentic and tasty North Indian food! Dal Makhni and Shahi Paneer are worth dying for. Cannot afford to miss this place if one is in Chandni Chowk. ❤

The service and ambience could do a lot better. But it's an old joint and they wanted to keep it authentic I suppose.

Could be super crowded on Weekends dinner time. Try to reach early or do a take out.

Located within the bustling lanes of Chandni chowk....this legendary eatery will give u the best yet the most simple north Indian food. The place is crowded but the service is quick. The food is delicious and the portion size is just right. The kake naan is huge and will take more than 1 adult to finish it. Do visit this place if you're in search for some amazing vegetarian north Indian food.

I have been to this famous restro in Delhi 3-4 times.
Must visit if you are in delhi and love to have proper naan and choles .
• We ordered Chole thali which was average as chole's taste was not that spicy and tangy .
• We also had Malai kofta and Naan which was really Goood .
• Lastly , we ordered Chhaas which was so refreshing and so gooood

◇ Highly recommended : Chhaas

I had the pleasure of trying the Amritsari Thali at Kake Di Hatti in Delhi, priced at 210₹. This thali included shahi paneer, chole, Amritsari naan, raita, and Gulaab jamun. The taste experience was nothing short of amazing.

The shahi paneer, prepared using khada masala, was a revelation. It offered a unique and delightful flavor that I hadn't encountered before. The chole was equally impressive, with both dishes benefiting from the use of khada masalas, resulting in rich and delicious flavors.

The Amritsari naan, aptly named the "baby Amritsari naan," was stuffed with aloo, pyaaj, gobhi, and generously drenched in butter. It was so rich and flavorful that it was a bit heavy to finish entirely.

The Gulaab jamun, a classic Indian dessert, was the perfect way to end the meal, with its delicious sweetness.

Despite the culinary delights, it's essential to note that Kake Di Hatti is an old, small establishment located on the bustling Chandni Chowk street. If you choose to sit on the first floor, be prepared for some discomfort, as the masalas used in cooking can lead to itching in the eyes. Additionally, the quality of service could be improved. Despite these minor inconveniences, the taste of the food at Kake Di Hatti is definitely worth the visit.

Firstly, the food is really tasty and worth the wait(not more than 10 min) because this place is always crowded.
Sitting is available on both ground and first floor.
This place serves authentic food made with khade masalas enhancing the whole dining experience.
It is nearby Chandni Chowk Railway station, also called Old Delhi Railway Station ( walking distance)
The nearest metro is Chandni Chowk.

Had a great experience. Butter Amritsari naan for 100 rupees and boondi raita for 80 rupees were mouth- watering. I would recommend every one to try it at once at least. You would become a fan of it. Also it's a cosy and crowded place. People are jostling, coming and going.
This is the place from where kake di hatti originated and it went on to expand to many cities. Also it has its chain in foreign countries.
I met the owner Gurdeep Singh ji (who is 3rd generation inheritor), and had shared my experience. He talked about his ideas of further expansion to many cities covering a global audience. The best part of him was that he was humble and a ground rooted person, who has a vision to serve Indian cuisine to the rest of the world. He told me " See, here we are sitting in Chandni Chowk, and talking about global business expansion, which is not a normal course of action ".

A great place to eat while shopping in chandni chowk.

You might have to wait a while to get a seat but the wait is worth it.

Lassi and chaas are a must try to get refreshed in this humid weather.

Everything was fresh, hot and delicious.

The longest Naan in India is served here .The place offers amazing food. You would never go empty stomach from here. The quantity is amazing, even half plate gravy and sabzi is enough for 2-3 people.
Must try the gaint Naan, its 27 inches long and enough for 2-3 people

Loved the place to the core. A typical Indian Dhabha style seating unhygienic environment, very conjusted place. You will not find such crowded restaurant anywhere nearby. Huge portion size. Tastes are mouth watering. A huge part of bill payment is on trust basis, as the payment has to be done almost on the road, where one can easily run without paying.

Best paratha and baby naan I have ever had! Simply awesome food, the gravy items were not too good or something, but parathas and baby nan will blow your mind. The ambience is the typical Old Delhi vibe, people who love that, for you it's a great experience.... Oh and the lassi is also good, especially mango lassi..

Desi dhaba in old delhi. This is the parent branch. Had Kake's naan, the biggest naan in delhi.. it was yummy. One full plate dal and one naan was enough for two people.

Best naan I have ever tried. Dhuaadhar Naan and Dal Makhani were delicious and complimented each other perfectly. Paneer Butter Masala and chaas were decent. Mango lassi was average.

A famous restaurant in Chandni chowk

The best thing about this place was, we were there at 9:30 in the night, the market was almost closed, and we were hungry and looking for good restaurants where we could have proper dinner, but after being disappointed from many outlets including bikanerwala, we asked the locals to guide us to a good restaurant.

Everyone there seemed to know the location and this place was very easy to find.

It was fully packed and there were people waiting outside for their turns, but since we were only 2 people, to our luck we immediately found a table for ourselves.

The food was amazing in terms of taste, quality, quantity and affordability.

we paid less than Rs 500 for a meal of 2. We ordered malai chaap and butter naan, The naan was pretty big and heavy and 1 was enough for 1 person.

Great first experience!
