This place I visited with my cousin on a all boys food trip to Mysore. I would say this is a meat lovers paradise. This place is so good that we visited this place 2 times in 3 days, while we had a list of 5 restaurants to visit, we skipped 3 others.

All the masalas used are home made and a secret recipe prepared by the owner. No adulteration, no acidity or uncomfortable feeling in stomach.

We would skip breakfast to get in the mood and visit here by 12. Always crowded, while the hotel opens in the morning you get starters only after 12 noon. They have small portions and one can try multiple dishes. Serve hot water.

Must haves: Parota + Chicken chops. Chicken fry is good as well but I would recommend chops. Biryani - very flavoursome.
Chicken lollipop is out of the world so is chicken kebab.

Star of the hotel is pepper chicken - i would say it's the best I have ever eaten. Deep fried but very moist inside, unlike peper chicken in regular hotels ( where the meat is hard).

One of a kind if u are in Mysore and looking for that authentic South Indian Mysorean non veg food.
Heard a lot about this place wanted to visit, it’s a decent old style hotel.

Ordered their chicken biriyani (they call it chicken pulav) and chicken cops since we went for brunch like 11am, other chicken items was not ready at that time. They said it will take time, so ordered whatever was available , everything was mouth watering and best at its taste, their dosa’s and kheema’s are next level. Best best best. Portion size is according to their pricing, so it’s understandable.
The parking is a issue but u will be able to find it nearby.
The place will be full during afternoon and waiting will be there, if you have some patience you will savour a nice meal here.
During our visit everything was good and serve too. :) will visit again :))

After so many days got to reach the place for eating, worth the place and the price. If you want to eat more and under budget, it is a good place to try with your friends pocket friendly too. My suggestion is have pulav rice and try with keema, mutton boti. Quantity is low on sides but worth the price. Happy hunting food.

It isnt easy to find a good lunch place which serves mutton. So damn happy we found this place . Just like all the reviews I too have the same thing to say. This place truly serves the most yummiest mutton dishes ever. We tried their mutton chops, mutton fry , mutton pulao and chicken kabab. Every single dish were equally good. Even though the place is a little small, cramped up and busy the food will be worth it all . Would definitely visit here again.

Absolutely loved this place. Very spacious hotel. Food is super affordable and cheap (for example: small dosa - 5 rs). The complimetary gravys are so tasty. I went for morning breakfast and surprised to see biryani (pulav) is available at tat time. Servers treated us so politely. Service is faster. Want to go again. Overall, a best find and must visit in mysore, if u r here in town.

Hotels like these need better reception and popularity! Honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in a really long time. The mutton in Palav or be it in Chops is more succulent than most of the chicken used in other hotels. Boti cravers are in for a delight. The prices are unbelievably inexpensive compared to other hyped places. I will visit every time from now on when I come back to hometown from Bengaluru. It’s family friendly and will probably come with family or friends too for all three, breakfast, lunch and dinner 🥘. I hope they get far more reach and customers going forward. There’s parking space out front in road opposite for two wheelers and four wheelers can be parked nearby.

Really well run establishment. We had Ragi Mudde, Parotta, Chicken chops, Mutton Fry and Kaima Gojju. All the dishes nice and restaurant was fairly clean. Definitely recommend Laksman Mess for some good Military Hotel Food.

The one of the best non veg hotels in mysore. I love the food here and I recommend chicken lollipop and mutton fry. All time my fav and loads of items are there.. u guys might love it.. try once

Whenever i visit mysore, I surely go to this mess for lunch or dinner. The chops and pullav are really delicious. Plus it is very reasonable. A heaven for non veg lovers. A must visit place. It is very near to Mysore palace.
Remember it is a mess and not a restaurant or hotel, so the ambiance is not very good.

It was yummy and delicious. I have got one more place in mysore for authentic non veg dishes. Added in my favourites list. I would suggest make it little spicy. It was crowded even at 11 am for breakfast.

It's a nati food (country style) and one of the best in Mysore. Place gets full busy during lunch peak hours. Available in the morning time as well.

Lakshman mess is famous for their early morning steaming hot mutton leg soup. Mutton leg skin was coming off easily which indicates that the leg was boiled througly in the soup and has released all it's juices and fats into the soup. Chicken palav was light, flavourful and of mild spice. They have used green masala. Palav had enough number of tender chicken pieces and was served with green and red gravy which added extra flavour and increased spice level

There is a bar next door. I don't know if drinks are allowed but there is a possibility.
Seating and service is below average. But you would not mind all that once you go and eat there.

I have tried almost all restaurants in mysore but this is a gem decent pricing and medium spicy food good for everyone s taste buds must visit place for nonveg lovers

Very good taste and especially their service is too good. All items of food prices is very affordable prices and i really liked ,loved their food taste if you're in Mysore must try this amazing mess

They serve the best boti and ragi balls , biryani and kheema balls are also their cuisine. The place is small but lovely food they serve

I usually prefer hanumathu when ever I visit mysore. This time I have given try, it can't beat hanumathu but it is very good. Try mutton biryani and kaima pepper dry.
There will be a crowd, sometimes you have to wait.

I've been visiting this place for years now. This place is good for having non vegetarian food which gives you a taste of home-made food, also reasonably priced with mouth watering menu and the hygiene. The mutton chops, chicken pepper dry and mutton boti are a must try, not to forget their boneless fish which is damn delicious. Do try the dishes mentioned and thank me later. Bon Appétit.
