The objective of IIIC is to conduct courses for the skill development of workers and managers in the infrastructure and construction sectors. With its strong experience in the construction sector, ULCCS is ideally positioned to take the lead in transforming IIIC into a state-of-the-art skill institute.

A skill training Institute set up by Govt of Kerala and Accredited by NSDC, Govt of India. A no of courses offered to improve employability of Students- Managerial level: BTech and other degrees, Supervisory : Diploma,ITI ans Plus2, Technician level : 10th, 8th etc. All courses include hands on training and on site internships. KASE identified 93-year-old Uralungal Labour Contract Co-operative Society ULCCS as the skilling partner for offering Skill development programmes. The objective of IIIC is to conduct courses for the skill development of workers and managers in infrastructure and construction sectors. With its strong experience in the construction sector, ULCCS is ideally positioned to take the lead in transforming IIIC into a state-of-the-art skill institute. ULCCS has established a separate division namely UL Education to promote higher education, skill development, entrepreneurship and to improve employability with collaborators from across the globe. In India there is a growing awareness about the need for skill development.

The building is situated very near to Chavara Bridge is an architectural excellence which span over 9 acres.
