It was a very beautiful property. Stayed for 4 days. The staff were so great. Loved the location but it was really far from most tourist attractions. The rooms were lovely and extremely elegant 😍. Chef Suresh was the best person I have met in this resort. He made such great food specially for us when he would come to ask how the buffet was. He would also take all our suggestions as well. I enjoyed the music show too during some dinners. Great songs. The happy hub was big and fun to spend time at. I enjoyed learning about bees as well. It was such an interesting class they organised.

Amazing place right on the bank of Ashtamudi lake , Kollam ,Kerala. The floating cottages are mind blowing where one can feel the oscillating waves just beneath too. The sun rise from balconies of floating cottages is just too beautiful to be described. Food in this resort is quite high priced as usual like any CM resorts. But options are there for getting food delivered through online from delivery platforms.
There is a decent swimming pool too.

It was a fantastic property.
The staff were amazing.

The only request and recommendation would be : add more staff to handle the restaurant as guests kept waiting who were having ala carte.

Also add more buggy services since your property is huge it's needed or you should consider allowing cars to drop off and pickup from the respective wings.

Rest property was nice and great spa services too

Beautiful resort, surrounded with Ashtamudi lake water bodies, lots of greenery with big trees attracting differenttypesofbirds, good lanes to walk, large swimming pool, good restaurant. Rooms are very big and modern. Having own boating services. Kitchenette provisions are good. No hot plate, only microwave.

Location and rooms were too good. Service of reception staff and kitchen staff was also good. Backwater place was best ever I hv seen.

Beautiful hotel located in a lovely green surrounding clean lake. Rooms are big overlooking the green surroundings. Room service is excellent. Breakfast caters for all.

The property has a good layout but would prefer if more facilities could be provided for outdoor activity. Further additional shades with seating facilities could be added so as to enjoy the nature and backwater in the property. The bathroom/changing in the swimming pool area stinks since the cleaning is only once in a day.
Unlike other Club Mahindra the food here is amazing. The chef would personally enquire and correct according to each person's acquired taste.

Had a stay during december 2023. Climate is hot with slight winds the main relief. While driving, location is quite in an inner village area with not many restaurants to eat outside in its vicinity. The resort atmosphere is serene and calming. There are some rope cycling and rope walk activities for 8-12 kids with game zone. The club mahindra restaurant buffet is 800 and if interested, breakfast would be the best option to try and not dinner. The villa near the lake as a stay is best to select for one day only. The studio with kitchenette seemed a better option in terms of room space and closeness to the reception.

It was amazing stay at Club Mahindra Ashtamudi, everything was perfect. It was surprisingly traditional welcome from Srushti which made us comfortable and felt like a home welcome. Mr. Kartik supported us during our stay. To give surprise for wife about celebration of Valentine day, I requested for Cake. Within an hour, it was arranged by the team and made my Valentine celebration special. My wife was very happy. The cake was also delicious. The food provided by the resort was tasty and various items were available for breakfast and dinner. My family enjoyed these. The resort was maintained in a very good condition along with a lot greenery. I booked floating house and it was very clean and neat and moreover enough for family. The swimming pool is very nice and clean. Kids enjoyed swimming. The happy hub hall and activities found very well. The overall stay was very good and we left the resort with lot of happiness. Thanks to Club Mahindra Ashtamudi team for making our stay, a special stay. 😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏

One of the best resorts in Kerala in the backwaters of the ashtamudi.

Reaching the resort is a little hard task as the roads are narrow.

Club Mahindra Ashtamudi Resort is a calm and comfy place by a pretty lake. The rooms are cozy, and the staff is friendly, making you feel welcome. The resort has a cool pool and a nice restaurant for some leisure time.

But, just so you know, we noticed few maintenance issues. It's not a big deal, but good to be aware of.

Overall, if you want a peaceful break surrounded by nature's beauty, this resort is a good choice. You can relax, enjoy the lovely views, and have a nice, quiet vacation.

It was a beautiful experience! V staying in the floating room, the experience was incredible.... Waking up to sunshine falling in through the glass doors. Standing on the doorstep with the tranquil ashtamudi lake just one step away. It was relaxing:)

The food was mouth wateringly delicious, especially at the floating restaurant called finz. We tried the prawn rasam n crab masala. The best I've ever tasted. I'll go back n order the same someday.

We went on the speed boat ride exploring the backwaters.... On reaching the Munroe Island they took us on a canoe 🛶 into the mangrove forests of Kerala backwaters.... It was an unforgettable experience overall. They may seem a bit expensive at first. But u will feel that it is worth it in the end.

Mr. Unni, the ever-so-helpful care taker, ensured the pool was immaculate and provided valuable guidance for swim sessions. The cleanliness here was truly of international standards.

He also arranged a mesmerizing two-hour boat ride through the backwaters, where we witnessed local artisans crafting beautiful coconut leaf art and enjoyed enchanting music and dance on our return.

Beautiful property with courteous staff. The Chef took the trouble to prepare Ada payasam because we liked it. This is a place worth visiting. Plenty of places nearby to see.

Great location right on the water. Green space and boating options although we prefer evening and the boat was only during hot morning hours of 10.30 am and 2.30 pm.

Most rooms open to the water with a great view.

Summers can be very hot. 🥵 Winters are not cold but best season to visit.

There are two restaurants: Ripples (which was earlier on the water) but now moved next to the lobby. And Finz which is a sea-food only resturant (earlier called Ripples) (floating restaurant and lovely Kerala decor with fishing nets etc. There is also Spice next to Ripples but is basically same.

Coconut trees, great walk at the water front is the best part of the stay here.

Speed boat and regular boat options are there but a bit expensive. Just outside is the Govt. run local boat which is really cheap but timings are an issue. So check first.

One of the best properties of Club Mahindra. Property is really lovely. Great stay. Worth a visit and repeat visit. There is a bit of a walk but they send an e-rickshaw. As with many Club Mahindra locations, this is far from airports and needs a long drive but once you get here it is wonderful. You won't regret it.

Fantastic place if you can afford it. But warning right now.. Extremely expensive. Make sure you have a budget of at least 60k per person for rooms alone (without food, food extra) for four days! If money is no problem, this is the place for you.
