The best and most amazing place for the perfect South Indian meals. Truly authentic and homely. We were served by these wonderful ladies. Price & quality is spot on. Thanks to the watch man Mr Kumar Anna who guided us. The entire place is run by woman. Homely and refreshing meals. Must visit and highly highly recommended .

Very polite staff , they serve Food with so much love. They serve 2 r 3 salad like cucumber salad, pineapple gojju , chapathi, rice, sambar, rasam, curdrice. Just wow..

Been wanting to go to this place since quite some time and been missing it during my previous visits to Mysuru. The locality, the house, the type of food everything feels so different and special. The service is spread across 2 floors and there is a small but noticeable delay in service which can be ignored considering the food. Will definitely visit the place many more times for lunch in future too.

Very homely vegetarian food, awesome service. It was like going to some friends home. They treated and served very nice food with a lot of affection.

If you are planning to visit on weekend then plan before 1 pm, afterwords waiting time will increase up to 1 hour !!!

Pure satvik food. Served in fresh banana leaf. They serve food till Saturday and lunch only. Sunday is holiday.
Food was served hot and taste was very good. Week day not much rush but weekends occupied during lunch hours so better to be early.
Homely atmosphere and people who serve will serve with a purpose and not as a business. affordable price. Only thing which I felt little difficult is restrooms are in first floor and if any aged people come accessing restrooms would be tough as climbing stairs would be challenging.

Old Mysuru vibes with an amazing Satvik food. No onion or garlic used. The service was great. The servers were very patient and felt like home.
Taste also was great. Overall, a great experience and would visit again for sure.

U will get a very gud vegetarian lunch at Grand Old 'Sandhyas House'. Neat and clean area, Tasty food, good service. I can say it's almost perfect. Very minor improvements suggested are usage of copper/steel glass instead of paper cups and add Payasam to the menu. Still it's best

One of my best experiences of South Indian vegetarian Meals served on a plantain leaf.
1. The place is small and clean
2. The people are courteous
3. Food is served fresh n hot
4. The taste is very good
5. The quantity is good with Rice, Rasam n Sambar unlimited
6. ₹220/- price may look higher, I consider it justified for the quality n service

It's like a time machine! Going back to our ancestors house. Nice atmosphere and found Somany active ladies to serve food instantly. Observed seating capacity around 32. I think they can increase the seating capacity.

Very tasty home cooked style of lunch..non spicy, yummy food. Rasam and sambar were very tasty - temple style I would say. Chapati was average. Good service. The ladies who served the food were very kind and served as per our requirement. As we were there by 12:30, did not face any issue with getting a table.

Must try location in Mysuru, very good and authentic tasty south vegetarian meals you get here with perfect quality, quantity, hygiene.

But considering lot of very good food options available in Mysuru, personally I felt 250rs for meals is bit costly. That should be taken care.

A smallish house with two dining rooms means a limited number of people eating. But at no point are you hurried through your meal. The service is warm, friendly, hospitable. It feels like a favourite aunts house, where you are urged to take a second helping.
And the food is served hot and delicious! The curry leaf chutney podi mixed with ghee hit all the right notes, the Pongal on the first day and the vangi bath on the second were perfectly spiced and the coconut barfi was addictive. The star of the show for me was the “saaru” which was just the correct consistency and taste.
It’s simple food for sure. But the quality and service make you feel happy and satisfied.

Felt like home food. Everything is good service, food, verity, taste and cost. Will love to visit again. Only challenge is they should atleast start dinner takeaway if not dine in.

An authentic taste of traditional Banana Leaf meal. Food quality and service were exemplary and if you need to spend quality time with your family and friends for during lunch this is the place for you.
It's not a typical restaurant rather the place is approx 130 year old house converted to cater serving requirements. Must visit place.

I had an amazing experience at Sandhya's house! The food is homely, and it tastes just like mother's cooking! Everything is made with the utmost care, and the taste is splendid. The atmosphere is just amazing, and their old school style is beautiful! I would suggest that everyone try their food.

Most delicious and authentic south Karnataka meals, they give chapathi as well... I don't think we south inidans ever had chapathi in our traditional thali, may be because now the people ask for puri or chapathi they might have added.
