Did a fantastic two hour workshop yesterday afternoon with @bali.silverclass (on Instagram) I found it online via ‘get your guide’ . They have various times available so I had a relaxed morning and booked the 1pm class to make a unique personal signet ring for myself.
I thought I booked in a small group but it turned out to be a one on one class with a great guy called Wayan (nickname Jonet) for under £25 including the solid silver handmade ring with stamped engraving. Another couple was there with another teacher helping them make wedding rings which I thought was brill.
My only regret is not bringing my beloved old charm bracelet with me to Bali to solder on various charms that have been in a box at home as the price for having these little things done in London is extortionate (like over £100) .
Anyway fab fab fun couple hours there in a shady outdoors hut , mineral water provided and really lovely staff .
If I was here longer I’d do the same class again to make a bangle or something.
10/10 must do if you’re in Ubud !

We recently took a 2h silver workshop here and loved every minute of it. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. From supplying us with plenty of water and tissues against the heat to polishing one of our silver rings (not bought there) as a kind gesture. When we chose a simple design that used less silver than was provided they informed us we could create an additional ring. This was a pleasant surprise. All in all, the workshop was very fun and hands on! We were involved in every step of the process and love having our rings as a reminder of our trip. The only point of feedback we have is that we would’ve liked some more information during the workshop about the background of silversmithing in Bali, its history and the steps we took during the workshop. Regardless, we definitely recommend stopping by (even if just for the gallery itself)!

Had a great experience yesterday! I booked the jewelry making class on GetYourGuide and had a private course, because I was the only one that booked at that hour. You can choose from many designs and there is one for every taste. The ring I made is the best souvenir ever! They also polished all the other jewelry I was wearing, such a nice gesture. It is all situated in a nice garden next to the actual store.

Great experience casting and building your own silver jewellery!

Took the silver jewelry class here. It was fun to learn how silver jewelry is made from beginning to end. The teachers were super friendly and accommodating. I was able to design my own ring. Would have liked to have more hands on experience, instead of trying it a minute here and there. But I suppose 2 hours isn’t enough for that. All in all it was a great intro experience.
