Where to start, Kawela is just AMAZING!!!🤩 by far the best restaurant on Karimunjawa, the best food, the best coffee ♥ and the best atmosphere and service! beach vibes are so cool!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! EKA the manager is soooo lovely and nice, along with everyone else who works there. We will miss our daily visits there 🔥

Discovered this gem for a chill night hangout during my trip to Karimun Jawa. The food was fantastic, prices were reasonable, but what stood out was the awesome ambiance. Highly recommend for a relaxed evening with friends. 🌟

The cafe that I consider the best in the Karimunjawa Island, offers a diverse menu with delicious Gayo coffee options, even though they only use a rockpresso for manual espresso extraction.
The owner is very friendly, which eventually led to engaging conversations about their journey in establishing Kawela Cafe on this Karimunjawa Island.
It's definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in Karimunjawa, with a wide menu selection and options for both breakfast, lunch and dinner, despite serving standard cafe food.

Do you need coffee to boost your mood? This is the right place to go. Placed in a downtown area of Karimunjawa, you can have your coffee or any other drinks. And don't forget they also have a very delicious blueberry cheesecake (my favourite 😁).
The barista, he's the best 👏👏👏👏 always suggested something nice.
The owner is super friendly 🥰🥰.

The ONLY and BEST desserts on the island! We stayed one week in Karimunjawa and came every evening. The place is also really nice.

Had dinner at Kawela. They have various menu. The food was nice but lil bit pricey. Need to provide more for parking area. But overall its a great place.

Amazing cafe with various of menu to choose. They also have dessert that taste great, especially the blueberry cheesecake. Great atmosphere, quick service and mid range price. Is a good option if you're looking for a place to hang with good snacks and drink.

Found this cool place when strolling around alun2 and looking for cafe. The warm greeting from the owner make me feel wanted. The owner put on the myrrh to get rid of bad smell from the nearest river. They have unique concept, and different desserts for each day. I ate cheesecake for the dessert. We wnjoy the vibes and the sands also calming my tired foot ❤‍🔥🥰

The ambience is perfect! My latte is just pleasantly rich just like as I always have in my fave coffee shop in Jogja! Would love to have another cup😉 ah! Don’t forget the strawberry milkshake is fresh! Tasty! thank you for adding kinda sweet last night memories of Karimunjawa. Should’ve discover this place from my day one in Karimunjawa haha

Visiting this coffee shop a week ago.
Love their unique design.
And also love the taste of their coffee.
While checking information about this coffee shop, i found out that kawela has another store in solo, so i confirm it to the barista. Then the barista tell a long short story about kawela.
The barista really good at story telling!

Surfer-boho-chic. So lovely! Delicious coffee and super friendly people. We went there every morning of our stay for a coffee and a chat.

Nice proper ice coffee latte and the owner is super friendly. They have desserts too. The norwegian vanilla cake is superb! They open early in the morning too.

Will come back again on my next visit to Karimunjawa.

Had the best breakfast at this place! And very good coffee, so many choices! It’s hard to make a decision, so I guess I have to come back to try the other coffees😉 Love the styling of this place.

I don't drink coffee, but the choclat milk was tasty, loved the cheesecake, breakfast and smooty was yummie 😋 and the owners where super friendly and nice 🥰
