Karimun Jawa island

I didn't expect the island was going to be so beautiful! The water was clear blue. When I was there, there wasn't too many tourists, which was great. The island is so well maintained that there aren't so much trash lying around. It was easy to find homestays too as they're everywhere. For food, you can get cheap and tasty seafood at the square.

If you are familiar with the serie "lost", you will feel a bit that way when you are inside the island. A real connection to a simple life, close to nature.
National park, snorkeling and other activity are the main thing to do on the island. There is a couple of beach for chill as pantai bobby, or for sunset ( Sunset beach). If you fancy local cuisine go to "alun alun"for seafood.

If you visit here please concern on the weather. This island has magnificent view and beautiful sunset. I love its blue sea. Clear enough. Locals friendly.
You can also rent a bike or motorbike. Rent bike 25.000/bike/day, rent motorbike 75.000/unit/day. You must try their seafood at their alun alun. Expensive?? No!!!. It is cheap and delicious. Eat fresh seafood till you can't eat no more

Finally got here. Beautiful beach and very clean. The residents really keep the beach and sea clean and make sure visitors do the same. Even the sea water at the pier is very clear.

Karimun Java is famous for its underwater natural beauty. and beautiful scenery. here are also many water games, such as fishing, diving. various local uniqueness and culture become objects of social interaction between tourists and local residents.

Amazing place to visit! Lots of fun activity you can do and great food!

Love the view, you can enjoy beautiful sunset or sunrise here, they offer many sea activity like snorkeling, shark breeding, etc but this island is very crowded at holiday or long weekend.

That's beautiful scenery, especially for honeymoon and hopefully this place always wonderful and amazing

One of Jeparadise is KarimunJawa Island. Every place I go is a paradise, whether it is a beach, hill, shore, all of them give me a huge best memory ever. i couldn't say more, I would go there even more.

Wonderfull island..

This place is my first love with sea 😂. The best sea I visited the first time. I went there in 2015 and it was so cheap. Karimunjawa is a small island which enables you to wander around by bike. There is a hill where you can enjoy the quiet sea as Java sea has tiny (if no) waves.
The more maginificent thing is its underwater world. It's clear and there are a wide range of sea creatures you can see. You can also experience being in a shark preservation.
As it's a small island, you can hear the sound of the sea in your hotel. The people are very friendly. It's worth it to have vacation in this place.

What a beautiful island ! The local people can speak english. Make sure u bring cash money cz they only have 1 ATM (BRI). The food is good. People are friendly and 98% the tourist are foreigners.

I'm holidaying yearly in Karimunjawa since 2010. This year 2018 I will even came 3 times of 1 month stay. This archipelago is like Maldives, like Seychelles.. But at amazing cheap fare. Cristal clear waters, coral, fauna and flora, snorkeling, scuba, sea food, swim with sharks and turtles, tour boat, bank sand, that all the usuals activities . On the main island is about 9.600 Inhabitants where on the sale surface in penat, where I'm living, we are over a million... So the traffic is I existent, no helmet, very few cars, mainly only scooter, 3 clinics, no hospitals, one police, one ATM, one gas station... Be sure to hold 2 or 3 different credit card and cash before arriving in Karimunjawa.. Also don't plan sharp connections with flights as the ferry can be jeopardize by the levels of the sea wave. Above 1.2 meters all ferries, fast as slow, are totally interrupted...
