Indonesia as a country is almost 90% Muslim. But the Bali population is over 90% Hindu. With that, comes a uniquely Balinese culture, incl. architecture, customs & food, found nowhere else is the country, nor the world.
This C11th Hindu complex is a testament to this and it's really beautiful. Dedicated to Vishnu (who rules over water), the site's surrounded on three sides by stonewalls and the fourth by a steep forested slope. The temple complex is built on a natural spring, which feed a series of ponds and pools stacked with fish.
It was so calm and peaceful, and barely a soul there (we went around midday). A delight.

30k to enter (which includes borrowing a sarong if needed). Depending how long you want to sit and relax, 30-60 mins is plenty. There are no signs or sources of info so do your own research before going. Plenty of stalls opposite the entrance to buy drinks and snacks. The area is very quiet and far out from Ubud town, I'm not sure you'd get a Grab easily, so maybe ask your Grab to wait.

Adult Rp. 20.000
Child Rp. 10.000
Tourist; Rp. 30.000 and Rp. 15.000 respectively

Paid at the entrance where visitors being provided with fabric to be worn

Fish feeding available, food available for Rp. 5.000 for a bag

The Scenery Is So Beautiful

This is a local temple which is worth to visit! The water is so clear and you could see the activities of local people by chance. Highly recommended !

A more quiet version of Tirta Empul. You can do melukat/Balinese purification bath ritual here with way less tourists and hassle. Otherwise, it is a small and nice temple to explore. You can also rest by the pond and feed the fish. To enter, you should wear kamen/sarong (if you wear shorts or short skirt) or sash (if you wear trousers or long skirt).

Hồ nước đẹp, cá siêu to có cả hồ tắm mà giá rẻ hơn nhiều ở mấy chỗ nổi tiếng. Chỉ có 30idr cho 1 người có cả sarong rồi.

Tempat yang sangat nyaman untuk bersantai sembari menikmati suasana dan memberi makan ikan. Di sini juga tersedia pancoran/pemandian umum untuk warga sekitar. Pemandian wanita dan laki-laki di pisah, jd tetap aman dan nyaman. Jangan lupa jaga kebersihan lokasi ini 🙏🙏🙏

Très beau et calme. Idéal si vous êtes en couple ou avez des enfants en bas âge. Des poissons à nourrir plaira à vos enfants.

Tempat yang masih asri walau sudah banyak renopasi namun masih tetap seperlu dahulu, dan di dalam pura juga terdapat mata air yang keluar langsung dari dalam tanah

Suasana nyaman dan sejuk dan juga bisa mandi di air yang jernih dan segar

udara bersih sejuk dan segar banyak ikan koi dan juga tempat ibadah menghilangkan stres
