Our family favorite Nasi Padang.
You must try rendang n ayam pop it's so delicious

It will be my top 3 choice to bring anyone to taste the real Padang food in the town. The taste makes me feels like home. Should try their desserts Es Teler. However the taste for their Sate Padang is slightly less spicy than what I am expecting, but it is okay since it is not their main dishes to sell anyway, perhaps they want to compliment the taste so everyone can feel welcome at their restaurant.

One of the best padang restaurants in Jakarta. Very famous one. Parking a bit difficult during lunch hour. Try the dendeng kering, Ayam gulai, dendeng and almost all of it have Really great taste. Smoking area available. Price still ok for this kind of quality

On weekday full with businesman and office worker get meal, and by weekend and holiday full with families.

Good place to eat out if you want to taste authentic Padang food. Rendang taste good but it could be cool longer to make it more tender. Reasonably price for all aspect, though place not too big so prepare to wait if it's rush hour but it's worth it because the waiters are friendly and helpful.

Traditional Minang food. Ayam Soto soup has deep chicken flavour boiled for long hours.

Great food. Don't get freaked out when they pile all the plates on your table after not even ordering (like we did), just eat what you want and you pay for that.

Small resto in the heart of the city. Old famous Padang resto. All of the food are tasty but pricey.

This place known as Nasi Padang Istana / Palace, because even the previous president eat at this restaurant. The food is good. Don't forget to order their Rendang, it's good. It quite pricey though, but they have good taste. Haha

Food quality is good, rendang is yummy. I used to order Gulai otak but unfortunately it was sold out.

One of the best Padang restaurants in Jakarta. The absolute highlight for me is its rendang, the beef in spicy coconut milk sauce. Extremely popular with locals, and expect some items to be unavailable when you visit the restaurant a little bit late.

Good traditional padang food in Jakarta with great taste

I lived in Jakarta many years ago. A friend of mine took me to Sari Bundo for lunch. I enjoyed it so much I ate there almost every week for the three years I lived in Indonesia. I left Indonesia and returned to the United States. I visited Jakarta ten years later and made a trip to Sari Bundo. Amazing the same waiters were still there and even more amazing they remembered me. The service and food were great. I do miss Nasi Padang from Sari Bundo. Unfortunately where I live in Florida we do not have really good makan Indonesia. I would love a bungkus from Sari bundo
