Ragunan Zoo

One of the best place for morning run. We need to pay around 4k - 6.5 k for adult.

This is a very big zoo and you need to walk a lot, so when you visit this place, you must use comfortable shoes. I especially love the elephant and the giraffe👍👍👍

I was very happy to see animals that are rarely encountered in everyday life. The place was very spacious and there were many animals that you could see. You could picnic with a mat or bike with your loved ones on a long bike that could fit two people. Because the distance between the animals was quite far, there was also a special car service that would take us around the zoo and charge per hour. I felt happy coming here, thank you for the experience Ragunan Zoo!

Worth to visit at least once if you lived in Jakarta or neighboring cities. Entries are dirt cheap, just 4k Rupiah.

Foods inside are also very affordable ranging from 10k ~ 50k.

Its a very large place to walk around, Shuttle are available for 10k/person if you choose to take it. The Zoo train is not worth it (10k) if you didn't have kids or didn't bring them, you could barely see any animals while on it, and if you do choose to take it try to avoid the 2nd carriage since the smoke from the Head Unit will choke you.

The lake is a good place to wind down and take a nice slow walk.

The primate center is a must if you visit here, although for an extra cost of 7,5k

I didn’t expect to have a great zoo in Jakarta. It is noticeable that the air is fresher than the outside of the zoo.
To enter is very cheap. The food sold is so value for money as well.
No wonder so many people enter the area.
To get a lesser visitor enter early in the morning.
It is a nice place to run or cycling around the lake.

Very well kept zoo. The animals don't look depressed like in lots of other zoos. They look content. The upkeep of the zoo is commendable.

Nice place to take a walk and see many kinds of animals. The primate collection is impressive. Wish it has more stroller friendly lane and working water station.

Very nice! The enclosures are big and the animals seem well fed and happy. Some parts of the zoo were under maintenance, but we surely will be back sometime soon!

There are numerous creatures here. Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, Etc. Especially creatures that you've never seen before with unique appearances, color, shape, etc.
A must-visit place if you love traveling and animals.

Cleanliness ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (everywhere I went was clean and tidy except the Casuari's area. Please pay attention to that area and the access 'cause it looks like an abandoned place)

this is a famous zoo in Jakarta, the area is really spacious in the middle of the city Jakarta, the zoo had various kinds of animals, so u can find anything, the animals looks health and well groomed (i like how they treated the animals there), very suitable to visit with your family, especially on holiday or weekend just to see the animals and picnic in the garden there, also entrance ticket are really affordable!

A very exciting place to visit especially if you like walking and sightseeing.
It's very cheap, for the entrance it only costs 4k Rupiahs for adults.
It has a lot of animals and a huge place to go for only 1 day.
My favorite place is the Primata, for the entrance it only costs 7.5k Rupiahs on weekends and 6k Rupiahs on weekdays.
In the Primata, you can see a lot of monkeys and orangutans, it has a great aesthetic and is a very cool place to go when it's hot.

such a great place to go with your family or your loved one! i recommend you to borrow their bikes cause it will be very tiring if you go around by walking. make sure to register one the day before your visit

Good place for kids. Learing diverse variety of mammals, birds, reptiles, and many other. Large parking area. Very crowded in the weekend. Great services. The most important is extremely cheap!
In my experience, ticket reservation is not necessary. Purchasing and toping up Jack Card for entry access can be done on the spot.

The zoo is ready (again) to welcoming visitors. I went there on weekdays and it's all excellent. It opens at 7 am. Well-prepared for visitors to come or even to do their workouts. Toilets are all clean up. Staff are so polite and helpful. Good job!

Ragunan zoo is the one and biggest zoo in south Jakarta. The ticket is very affordable for most citizens. It will be very crowded during weekend and super crowded during public/ school holidays. Ragunan has quite many gate (North, the main gate the one near Ragunan Bus Station, West gate at the back area near Kavling polri, East gate at Kebagusan Street) you have to pay attention to the gate you entering from, since it’s a very big area and people tends to lost. The security and staff quite strive nowadays since pandemic which is good improvement, appreciate that.

Must visited Zoo in the heart of Jakarta!!

If you're planning to make a family holiday with toddler, Of course this place is a must in your list. Kid always love Zoo 🤩🤩

The place is ease to access, especially for you didn't have much time to go out of the city. You need booking 1 day in advance using TMR forms. The entrance ticket was cheap!! our family only purchase 35k for 3 people, using Jakcard.

The animal was various, you will see duck until crocodile there 😅. And amazingly, the place was clean enough inside and surrounded by many trees, so it's really relaxing in the crowds of Jakarta.

Ease to get Toilet, Musholla, food stall and trash bin. But, don't forget to bring umbrella when rainy season and a stroller or scooter if you're bring a toddler.

Make sure where you park, whether its the west gate or north gate. Use comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk. We all love it. My 4 year old son especially love the giraffe and the elephant.
