Warung Leko

Warung Leko is very famous restaurant and we had to wait 20-25 minutes to get entry. Opens at 10 am. Should go there and expect to wait 20-30 minutes at peak lunch hour. It was worth the wait. Freshly prepared food, friendly staff. Will visit them again next time I’m in Surabaya.

My favourite iga penyet in town! The sambal taste was never failed. Always crowded during lunch and dinner time, sometimes have to queu. You can always get free soup when order any menu here and can always get extra after first bowl for free.

Spicy delicious local Surabaya restaurant. Bebek penyet is awesome with real spicy chilly. Tahu telor (peanut fried egg) is crispy egg. Long queue here so it is must to come earlier.

This restaurant serve best cow ribs in Surabaya from my opinion. Meat is tender, soft, soup is good, and sambal is great. This my favourite restaurant from 2000 until now. Place is now bigger and service now faster. Great job 👍👍👍

It was a weekday yet there were still a lot of people coming and we were on the waiting list. The good thing was it was not for long. Food is good. I especially like the iga bakar. Service is fast. Yet the atmosphere is so so.. the place is not a place for long conversation. You eat then go home. Price is cheap, compared to other iga bakar restaurants. So far, recommended 👍

Authentic, delicious meal at very reasonable prices. Tahu telur and ayam penyet were incredible. It’s a pretty popular spot but we didn’t have to wait long for the food. Great service too. Highly recommend!

Best beef ribs (Iga) restaurant in town, expect some queue during dining hours.

The food is very good with reasonable price but I think is too crowded in lunch time which is undertandable with such delicious food 😊

OMG! Their taste and food menu is different from Leko in Jakarta and the taste is really much better.

Nice place to eat ribs. Several variation including grilled ribs, stew, and fried with choices of sambals.

The iga and everything else was just fantastic. Quick service, good food and a good price. Definitely get the iga hot plate.

Good taste, decent prize but not that full-filling in my opinion.
Can get really crowded on busy hours (dinner time) so ge here early. Serving time was fast.

Best spare ribs bbq in town..always expected a queue in here.but since this place is have a large capacity inside..so we should not wait too long..their sambal is great and their ribs are amazing..thumbs up!!!

Still tasted great as always. But the portion of menu iga was get small. Hmm..

🥩 The grilled ribs and smashed ribs are really impressive. And don't forget the Tahu Pyur appetizer, it's light on the tongue and tasty in the throat.

🍜 We can request the broth sauce as much as we want and it's free of charge. Perfect for enjoying with the Iga Penyet dish.

🌶 The sambal sauce can be requested to be not spicy, spicy, very spicy, or super spicy. As a spice lover, the spicy level is enough for me.

🚭 Smoking is not allowed inside the dining area, and it's fully air-conditioned.

🅿 There's a parking attendant and the rate is normal for Surabaya area.

🚽 The toilet is nice and the hand washing area is also comfortable.

💺 The seats and tables are always clean and dry, and there's no unpleasant odor at all.

❄ The room is always cool but not too cold that it makes the skin dry, the temperature is just right.

⏰ If you come during the peak lunch hour, be prepared for a full house and the room might not be as cool, so you might sweat a bit.

Avoid eating here during lunch/ dinner time. It will be crowded. But, then, the crowdedness means that this restaurant does something well. The food has always been consistently delicious. Worth your money!

Taste and price are good, you have to wait about 20 minutes

Delicious food, the complementary soup in the beginningof your meal is just too good. Tried iga, ikan goreng and kangkung with rice. Walked out with a full stomach and very happy!
