Delicious Indonesian food in historic building with modern interior, good place to have dinner with family or colleagues.
Nasi Bakar Timbel (54k) have variety flavors from savory grilled rice, crunchy from fried chicken and spicy salted fish sambal, umami from fried tofu and cornbread, and freshly sour from sayur asem, delicious.
Ayam Goreng Bawang Putih (47k) was have crunchy batter but moist chicken meat inside.

One of the best Indonesian restaurant in Surabaya. The taste is extraordinary tasty! Price is affordable and strategically located in central of Surabaya (walking distance to Grand City Mall). Smoking area is available.

Everything is perfect, the food is delicious, the ambiance is excellent! Parking fee: Rp. 5k. I’m looking forward to have a dinner here, again!

This restaurant is best for couples or a big family. But, I think the variety of menu is limited..

This is another day to eat Sansekerta. As always, the Indonesian food served here is superb. We had a delicious lunch here, and as perfect as before.

This place is visited on July 18th, 2022. It is recommended place to go when you want to have Indonesian fine dining. It was not our first visit here and for this visit we try new menu. It is ayam goreng seribu rasa (fried chicken with rich spices). It was good. The sansekerta platter also nice even it makes you full. So be strategic if you want to dig in this appetizers and combine with the entree. My personal favorite when coming here is the tumis daun pepaya and bunga pepaya (stir-fried papaya leaves and flowers). It is so authentic and delicious.

The place for me is so cozy, good choice of light temperature, good interior design that is successful integrate the modern and so-like collonial design. The tone color is lovely (turquoise). How it mantains the orginal door and window, it also well designed.

The staff is responsive and friendly. The parking lot is enough for both cars and motorcycles. It shares with calibre (the cafe next to this place) parking spot. The toilet also well designed.

This is a perfect place if you want to find an Indonesian fine dining restaurant. The ambience and interior design is very beautiful and cozy, great for family and kids or small meeting place. We tried fried noodle and nasi Nikmat which was very delicious and the price was reasonable. Will come back again for sure.

We decided to check out this restaurant after driving past it during our travels in Surabaya. The food was excellent and they have a wide choice of dishes to satisfy all your Indonesian food cravings. Price was very decent if you compare the venue, ambience and food serving portions.

My top recommended dishes would be:
1. Bibik Goreng Balinese (Duck)
2. Tofu Sambal (Egg)

To the Management Team:
Our food experience was amazing, however the front staff did an average job in being attentive and making us feel welcomed. Examples:
1. When we arrived, we were told that it would take us 1 hour to get a seating. It was not the case, we got seats in 10 minutes.
2. Front staff were all mainly gathering at the back of the restaurant and at many occasions we had to walk and look for a waiter.

Very well prepared, looks good and tastes good at the same time. Excellent service, nice place but tricky parking lot especially lunch time. Surely recommended

I fell in love with the name of the resto. I found it so attractive, since I love everything about unique, ancient name.
I love the vibe and everything in it . Food, furniture, interior mix of old and modern. Just so right.
The price also reasonable with the taste unbeatable. Just love love love ... recommended if you're visiting Surabaya and do strolling around Kali Mas and Grand City Mall.

I dont know why ppl giving 1/2 star to this Fantastic Restaurant, the foods are delicious we try the Iga Bakar, Nasi Sultan, Nasi Sansekerta and they are all yummy! And about the price ? Come on guys this is a pretty fancy Restaurant not Warung or Food street vendor dont be a cheapskate, they are still Affordable ☺☺ .
Now become one of best Indonesian Restaurant on my list, the place also cozy and beautiful

They have the best rawon in Surabaya. The satay is also good. A very comfortable place to eat with your family.

ONE OF THE BEST INDONESIAN RESTAURANT IN TOWN! You can choose so much option for Indonesian cuisine from Soto to Rujak Cingur. And you should try their Nasi Timbel because it’s so amazingly-delicious! This place is the best place if you want to have lunch with your family or colleague.

Foods are good & reasonably priced. It has valet parking too. Located just beside popular coffee shop.

Highly recommend for authentic Indonesia local cuisines in Surabaya.

Food is a bit slow but to be fair, we were there 30 minutes before they open but they let us wait inside with air conditioner on.
