Grand Qin Hotel Banjarbaru

good place, high class for a wedding party, but on Saturday and sunday very crowded, a long time to get in with a car. We can go fast if we ride motorcycles

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was old, so age is starting to show itself such as the peeling wallpaper, molds, humid, the glass partition in the bathroom (of my room at the time) was floppy and not fixed in place, which was a safety hazard. But on the bright side, it was clean and the bed was pretty comfy, and the daily cleaning of the room was consistent and neat. Prayer amenities are supplied (for Muslims).

But compared to other hotels in the area (I won't say their names), I'd say this much is better already.

The waiting lounge was large and there were plenty of seatings, but the active receptionists were only two at a time, so expect a queue if you're checking in or out. The crowd situation is full, so book a room at least a week prior.

The breakfast menu is always the same everyday, I guess if it's possible, only book a day of included breakfast and do the breakfast on the rest of your stay outside where there are many traditional food vendors because it gets a bit boring to eat the same menu everyday, and I only stayed for 3 days, so that's saying something. Of course, the menu includes a range of items so there is still some choosing involved.

There was a sky garden and a pool deck available, but no outside food allowed so I guess it's for the hotel events.

There are 2 separate elevators, where one connects the lobby at the ground floor and the basement parking to the reception and waiting lounge area at level 3, and another one connects the level 3 to the upper floors of the hotel. For each elevator, there are only 2 units, so expect a queue if the hotel is crowded. Hence, it's a bit of a hassle switching elevator just to get to your room.

Pretty clean hotel of close distance to the airport. Situated near the Banjarbaru and Banjar border.

connected with the mall, it was rly packed when I was there, the lobby was grand. I had a good time staying here, staffs are polite and kind, but the food tho, sometimes some of them taste too salty for my liking (or maybe its local preference? idk)

This hotel is integrated with the Mall. So it's convenient and easy to find anything you need like food, cinema, fashion etc.

When you wanna staycation with fam or maybe you have bussiness & need MICE for goverment Like I did ( Coaching & Training with Bonis Management ), Grand Dafam Q Hotel can be one of the option

Grand Dafam Q Hotel is part of the Artotel Group, a hotel that is integrated with Q Mall Banjarbaru, not far from the roundabout in the capital of South Kalimantan, Banjarbaru. The spacious hotel lobby is located on the 3rd floor, while the hotel rooms are on the 6th and 7th floors

I had comfort and pleasant stay here and will recommend this place to friends. The location and surrounding are good. I had good assistance from the staff especially Rane and Bismy along the stay.

This is a Syariah Hotel, only for legal Couples can stay in a room...
In the room 5 times Azan will be sounded (in normal sound level) to remind you for prayer time.. For me it is very good...

Highly recommended Hotel to stay in

Good, sophisticated, spacious rooms. Very friendly people around, feels like home. Good outdoor restaurant view, great fresh-brewed coffee every breakfast. Good gym. The buildings is next to a mall, a full package for travellers.

Great Hotel, the price is relative cheap but the facilities like five starts hotel. This is Syar'i based hotel with very Islamic environment, excellent service, warm and cozy room. Have a roof top garden, connected with Q Mall and have a great masjid in top of floor Q mall.

Syariah hotel. Meaning, u could only bring your family, legal wife, kids, or friend wotj the same gender.
Service was okay, all the staff are helpful.
There are 2 elevator, first one take u to the receptionist, and second to your room, second elevator could only be accessed with key card, so its safe from unwanted guest.

View was amazing, our room has balcony btw, theres a little garden.
The theme is islamic hotel, so expect that kinda thing.
My uncle in law said he felt like being in madinah hotel. Haha

Cool.... there's a luxury mosque and also a small musholla in this hotel, connected to Q-Mall (hypermart, matahari, etc) ... never forget to look around from Kweni Sky View @ 4th floor

For moslem travelers, it's one of the best hotels to choose due to next to mosque and it's syar'i hotel, unmarried couple can not stay at the hotel... barakallahufiik..
