Syamsudin Noor International Airport

Very impressed of the new airport that is spacious and clean. The parking area is also spacious. It will take around 30 minutes to the central town. You can either book a driver before arrival or order a taxi from the airport.

We ordered the driver from Traveloka. It cost Rp 200.000 or around $15.

Clean, fresh, staff friendly, very nice airport when visiting Banjarmasin

one of the best, biggest and well equipped airport in Indonesia on the island of Borneo. one of the new and latest built airport. located in Banjarbaru. one hour journey from Banjarmasin City and 30mins from Banjarbaru City.

This is the new airport. The building design looks modern, clean, wide space and very high ceiling. Lots of natural light used during daylight. Parking lot are sufficient.

Clean, Huge airport, modern design! The little boy urinoir complete with low wastafel for kid is stealing my attention, great job!

Brand New Terminal in 2020, much bigger than previous. Spacious and clean (hope the cleanliness is long lasting). For transportation there's no Bluebird taxi but official airport taxi just on the right of arrival door exit.

The only airport in south Kalimantan if you planning to go to cities like banjarmasin, banjarbaru, martapura, and many others. It have complete facilities with decent quality. There are a lot of foods and souvernirs stores to be found on the waiting room, so not too worry if forgetting to bring one or just hungry. The officers are nice and helpful. They also have reading corner for passengers wanting to spend the time reading a good book or two.

Domestic Arrival Terminal of Syamsudin Noor Internatinal Airport .... The new airport terminal called The Jewel of Borneo,, began operations on Dec 10th 2019. The new apron can accommodate 20 aircraft (2 Boeing 747 aircraft, 2 Boeing 777 aircraft, 2 Boeing 767 aircraft, 12 Boeing 737 aircraft, and 2 ATR aircraft). The runway will be extended from the current 2,500×45m to 3,000×45m.

what a cool new international airport. bigger and cleaner. but still not much passengers. unfortunately, the masjid is too far n not reachable.

The new airport in Banjarmasin so there are just a few restaurant. But i love its quietness

Try to advanced their service. This is a small airport. You will commute to airplane by the bus from the gate. Quite comfortable. So far so good. You can find souvenir stores, coffee shop and restaurant here. A small national airport. I hope it could be better in the future.
