Fine dining rest in surabaya. I always eat set menu . Never failed about the taste . The taste is good, you will feel the luxurious when come to this place.

The decoration is so elegant, cozy, raffinate.
The house is divided in private dining rooms, each one has its own ambiance.
The fine dining Italian cuisine is delicious.

The only improvement to be done: napkins in fabric instead of paper. This type of elegant place deserves it.

The atmosphere is relaxing and charming. The waiters here are all polite and friendly. Moreover, the tomato salad might be a must in this elegant restaurant.

If you are looking for a vintage dining experience, you must visit this place. The food is tasty, (at least for the nasi goreng that I ordered). The restaurant have a classic atmosphere, that surely will bring you back to the 19th century. It is a must visit!

Good place for fine dining.

Great dinner in a stunning place, however since we didnt reserve the private area, we were given a non private dining room in a separate building from the main one, which was not as decorated as the main one.
Food and beverages were as expected of a fine dining resto, but the truffle ravioli was beyond, so I'd definitely recommend that.
The staffs there were attentive and friendly.
Overall, It was a very nice dining experience.

Truly a magical place. Felt like we were transported back in time to colonial era where this historical place celebrate french style cuisine into modern times.

The salmon terrine as amuse bouche was very apt opening to our meal. Briny fish paired nicely with sweet coconut cream and delicate brittles.

The bisque sauce angel hair with scallop as appetizer was a flavor bomb to prepare my palate for the main course. Such a pleasant meal to eat the noodle with creamy seafood sauce that enveloped the spaghetti.

The Surf and Turf meal was absolute cracker. The truffle sauce elevates the savory Lobster and Steak to the next level. Each bite was umami bomb one after another.

i went there for anniversary dinner that my fiancee made for me. the marketing staff was very helpful and informative, she made sure everything went smooth and well. they provided table decor that matches with the ambience.

we had a set menu dinner. the food was amazing, the butler was helpful and courteous. it was all perfect. my fiancee had tiramisu for dinner and i had panna cotta. too bad the pannacotta didn't fit my liking. but it was all great tho. great ambience, excellent service, and delicious menu.

I was attending a wedding ceremony, so I can't say for the regular menu. But from what I had then, it was all good. I ate a lot and almost all food variants they provide there. The service was very pleasant, attendants were helpful and kind. Atmosphere was also cozy and delightful.

This might be the best fine dining place restaurant in Surabaya. Great food, great place, great service. I had the ribeye steak and it is the best steak I’ve had in Surabaya. Unfortunately the potatoes and veggies that come with the steak were not that good.

Still I had a really great experience dining at de soematra. The food here is really expensive. From IDR650k ribeye steak up to IDR1.2m for wagyu beef choices. You can choose to have 5 course set menu or ala carte. You can expect around IDR 1-1.5m per person.

Even with their exorbitant price, I still do think the experience is worth it. I recommend de soematra for you who want to take your special ones for a awesome dinner.
