My recent dining experience at Kahyangan Resto in Surabaya was nothing short of extraordinary. This restaurant is an absolute treasure for those seeking an authentic taste of traditional Indonesian and Chinese style cuisine, all while basking in a wonderful atmosphere.

First and foremost, the ambiance of Kahyangan Resto is truly remarkable. Nestled in a prime location, it offers a delightful blend of modern comfort and classic Indonesian charm. The open-air seating area allows guests to enjoy the fresh air while dining, creating an inviting and relaxed setting. The restaurant's thoughtful decor, with its mixed traditional Indonesian and Chinese elements, adds a touch of cultural richness to the dining experience.

This place serves really delicious and authentic Indonesian cuisine! We tried abit of everything, from fish to satay to soft shell crab to chicken... all of it was full of flavour and just so good!! Price is reasonable for the quality and taste.

The place is beautiful as well with a great service!! Will definitely be back for more great food!

Everything tasted good, the duck is our favorite. It has great texture and perfectly seasoned. One thing that can be improved is the cleanlinenes of toilet

furniture and ornaments is beautiful and well decorated, the ambiance is cozy and there was live music performance at night so we suggest to go at dinner, and also plus point is the light at night is very nice;
it have 4 different dinning room which 2 is indoor with air conditioning (1 is smaller which is perfect to book for big family or office dinner), 1 outdoor with roof and 1 fully outdoor/open air which is perfect for enjoying the live performance and the evening breeze, there is 1 small private outdoor dining gazebo which perfect for couples dinner; the staff was great, she was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable;
and for sure the most important part which all of the food is amazingly delicious, the spices are fresh and flavorful, we order: ayam arum sari (115k) a whole fried chicken with fragrant spicy sambal which we recommend you to have this, tahu telor padang bulan (45k) we love the peanut sauce which is thick and scrumptious, sate ayam sawung cindelaras (49k) chicken meat was well marinated and then grill to perfection which make it tender, baby kailan ny. ondemohen (35k) is great to balance the protein foods, es cendol puteri harum (24k) not too sweet but still delicious, es beras kencur (16k) is traditional herbal drink (jamu) which commonly used to soothe throat irritation or to protect the bodies against some ailments.

Heritage legacy are a pleasant view. Very well taste and fresh ingredients

Love the traditional design of the place!! the open air section of the restaurant is perfect for enjoying the evening breeze of Surabaya. The staff are really helpful and polite. Most importantly, the dishes are 10/10 in every aspect. The quality of the food has remained consistently great for more than a decade.

Very best experience art resto with yummy foods. There so many new restaurants around this one still well managed and well served. Foods are delicious and big plate enough for couples.

It was my second time coming here. The taste is constantly good. The portion is not too big, but enough to share together. I like the karedok, so fresh and light. The kolong nenek with tauco sauce is magical. Crispy kangkung with sour chili sauce is also the best. Anyway I love the atmosphere the most, bring us to a certain calming mood.

A nice Indonesian restaurant with classic ambiences. Good food and definitely recommended. I think foreign guests would like here. This is the best indonesia restaurant so far i think. the price are not to expensive, worth it with the taste.

Always be my favorite Indonesian restaurant. Everything is good in here, very traditional. Love the venue, food and the people. Iga bakar madu is very recommended menu! Very good.

The food is okay. The price is kinda expensive. But the vibe in here great very relaxing and traditional and there's outdoor and indoor space available there's live performance in the night. Definitely I'd love to come here again.
