The Kwetiau Siram (Kwetiau with gravy) and Kwetiau Goreng (Fried Kwetiau) was absolutely delicious! The texture was just perfect.

The golden, bubbly skin fried dumpling were a yummy addition. It’s a must order!

To balance out the flavors, must also try the cucumber pickle. The crunchiness was just right and the tanginess so refreshing. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for kwetiaw medan, this is one of the places you must try. I have been eating here regularly and never get bored. The dishes are fantastic and reasonably priced. There is always a queue for lunch during peak hours, but worth it. Kwetiaw b2 seafood & pangsit goreng are the best. The waitresse are very friendly and fast serving.

This restaurant is hands down, serves the best Kwetiau Siram (Kway Teow) I have ever eaten. Their Kwetiau Mie goreng and Mie Keriting are also delicious and worth a try, but the Kwetiau Siram is just something else entirely. There's a queue on peak hours sometimes, but it's usually not that long of a wait. This place's been around since the 90's, with its taste unchanging. That's how you know it's good.

One of the quite famous restaurant in Surabaya. Serving typical Medan dishes such as kuetiauw, noodles, fried rice etc. There is a choice of pork/chicken/seafood for the toppings.

I think the serving time is relatively fast. Usually I order boiled curly noodles, I think the taste they offer is good. You can ask for additional fried lard (gromoan) which is crunchy and can increase your appetite.

You will see quite a number of staff ready to serve you. How to order :
1. Approach the standby greeters in front of the entrance
2. Mention the number of guests and you will be given a queue number
3. Wait in front of the restaurant until your number is called, you can sit in the seats provided (quite limited so sometimes you have to stand), if you are lucky or come outside of rush hour, you can enter the restaurant right away
4. after your number is called, you will be directed to a table
5. Mention the menu that you want to order to the duty officer
6. Food will be delivered to your table
7. After enjoying your meal, you can make payment to the cashier (accept cash/non-cash payments)

note: you can directly order without a queue number when ordering for take away. But you still have to meet the greeter first. It

The best kwetiau in surabaya for me. Love the fried rice and noodle too. Its a must try even though you will have to get a number for waiting. Its worth the wait. The food is always the same. They have the most organized team ever. Give it a try!

the best and famous a Chinese food in Surabaya And didnt open branches anywhere. even though the queue is long the customer still wants to queue and wait. You can't eat at this place for long because there are still many people queuing to eat inside. The kwetiau tastes very good, especially the tea, the place is clean, the waiters are very handy and friendly. You won't regret standing in line for a long time and eating here. it's really worth it.

A very busy restaurant at dinner time with responsive front and back staffs. We didnt have to wait to get seated and approx 7mins wait for our meal. Delish kwetiaw and fried dumpling. Decent portion size for ladies that it is shareable. Recomended and will come back to try other dish!!

A legendary place in Surabaya for Kwetiau and Curly Noodle (Mie Kriting / Song Mie) in Surabaya. The fried Kwetiaw, the Kwetiaw Siram, and Song Mie is one of the best in Surabaya. The staff is also very friendly, even we must queue if the table is full. The price is quite affordable and the serving time is fast.

Very delicious.. prepare for the long queue tho.. loved the curly noodle more than the kwetiaw.. the kwetiaw's texture is soft and a bit thick.. But damn I like them both..

The best kwetiau siram i've ever had..i also try their kwetiau goreng, bakmi, pangsit etc but kwetiau siram is always be my number one. Basically it taste mild not strong in flavour but we can taste the freshness in every bites proving that they use high quality ingredients and cook them very well..we often queue to get the seat but we'll never get dissapointed..

Apeng is such a classic and well known place to eat medan-style kwetiaw in Surabaya. The queue can be long but you will be served in no time. Once we came around 1 PM, we got number 48 and the current number served was 35. We thought it's gonna be long time but no less than 15 minutes we were ushered in.
The service was very quick, i heard that this place has around 120 employees. Quite large for humble restaurant, but effective to serve the customers.
My favorite menu is kwetiaw siram, which is noodle drenched in thick delicious broth topped with pork and seafood. Pro tips: ask for extra garlic to the server, it will enhance the flavor even better. My husband loved the kwetiaw goreng, but i think it was a bit bland compared with the siram.
Overall, we would love to visit the place again. The downside is just the parking space is along a very busy road, so if you go during working hours you may have to struggle a little bit.

Best kwetiaw siram in town. Kwetiaw siram served with pork and seafood (also available option with chicken). Mi kriting rebus also very delicious with tender pork. But you have to wait the queue to taste the deliciousness
